Charmander or Charizard bred from egg for Scarlet/Violet

Trying to make one, but keep getting an error that it is not transferred correctly, but it is a Gen 9 egg. My understanding is the raid event can breed, but I am not interested in raiding. Hoping someone has done the raid and bred a Charmander that they can post.

after updating and saving the game i actually get this error

New update so importing new save file won't work. I thought we could breed with the Event Charizard and make an egg, which should be fine on the old save file. Pkhex gives me the " it is not transferred correctly" error though.
