Paco Posted August 11, 2022 Posted August 11, 2022 (edited) I noticed some scenes with some undesired Pokémons at the credits roll in ORAS. I'd like to suggest to add this feature to customise the credits roll with your Pokémon in next PkHex Update. It would be really cool! Please comment and vote! ORAS has the best ending and credits roll in my opinion! It would mean a lot for people like us who customise everything. Edited August 11, 2022 by Paco
theSLAYER Posted August 11, 2022 Posted August 11, 2022 Not possible. It's random, and based on the mons in your dex.

You sure it isn’t just the starter? If so it should be easy for you to document. Stuff can’t even be considered for implementation if it doesn’t get documented by anyone

Yet I forgot to switch Pokes at one time. Wanted to record the ending as a memory of the game :') I really enjoyed it, first time I complete Dex.

You can go check with the npc and check which pokemons you used for win every gym battle. Then go watch the ending and the Pokémons will match.

Not sure what you're on about, but perhaps I didn't fully clarify my point. I'm not talking about the documentation regarding the phenomenon. Rather, documentation regarding what value gets saved where in the save. If we don't know what gets saved where, how do we make an editor for it? If the program developers were to independently conduct research (such as finding out where such species for such a condition may be stored at) every time someone suggests something, I don't think any programming would actually get done. Hope that makes it clearer :3

theSLAYER Posted August 13, 2022 Posted August 13, 2022 According to what you said, it appears to be stored between each progress point (starter, gym, etc)? You could do before and after saves for each of those points and compare event flags. PKHeX has a event research button IIRC
Danius88 Posted August 14, 2022 Posted August 14, 2022 (edited) The Pokémon's data shown in the credits are stored at 0x1EAF0. The game saves your EC and the Pokémon IDs for each event. You can also make them shiny/mega/alternate forms tweaking the ID. Edited August 14, 2022 by Danius88 1

I just need to change 1 value at the encounter with Aura/May at the volcano. Open your save file in a Hex Editor and go to 0x1EB4C. You will see there the Pokédex number of the Pokémon you have in the volcano scene. For example, Metagross's number is 376 in decimal = 178 in hexadecimal using any hex calculator. If I wanted to write Metagross, I would overrwite the next 2 bytes with "78 01". I'm not sure what are the next 2 bytes (0x1EB4E-1EB4F), I think they are the gender/shiny form. If you want it to be shiny, you can write "03 00" there. Edit: Remember to open and save the save file in Pkhex to fix the checksums. Edited August 15, 2022 by Danius88 1
