Shinra33459
I tried to open the PKHaX files, but Windows 10 automatically flagged it as Trojan:Win32/Wacatac.C!ml. Is this a false positive, or should I actually be concerned?
Hayato213
It shouldn't flag it as virus, it is pkhex not pkhax by the way.

Pkhax-*.exe is a compiled batch file that allows you to run pkhex's illegal mode without renaming the primary executable. 44 minutes ago, Shinra33459 said: I tried to open the PKHaX files, but Windows 10 automatically flagged it as Trojan:Win32/Wacatac.C!ml. Don't worry it's not a virus; it's a false positive, that's only flagged because it's a program whose primary purpose is to open another program after applying modifications. Sabresite
Wacatac is not a false positive virus. Where did you download PKHex? From our files download section? Don't use the PkHax bat file... It's not needed and it probably is a virus.
