Questions about running PKHeX

I’m kind of new to all this stuff so I’m not really sure how it works and I have some questions if you wouldn’t mind.

1. How do I mod my switch with a homebrew launcher?

2. Are there any alternatives to using a modded switch?

3. Is checkpoint necessary to use PkHex?

4. If I make a different user and hack Pokemon onto there, will all my users be banned or just the new user?

5. Will putting hacked Pokemon into Pokemon Home ban me?

 

Sorry if that’s a lot of questions but I can’t find the answer anywhere. Thanks!

Once again, at your own risk, Only if your Switch is hackable. This extracts and injects your save without CFW:

Please know that for the Switch, no saves are stored on carts. It's all stored on the Switch.
Hence no options like Powersaves or R4i save dongle would be possible.

You have to hack your Switch one way or the other, in order to get to your save.

If you use what I showed in 2, no.
Else, not necessarily.

Basically PKHeX needs a save file. Doesn't matter how you get the save file, but it has to be a decrypted save file.
(If you use checkpoint of JKSM, those manage the decryption for you)

We have a tutorial for managing Switch saves, when you CFW it.

No one knows. We don't work for GF. As far as I can tell, no one has been banned for purely hacking mons yet.

More often than not, it was the CFW devs that got console banned.
If you were to be banned, it'll be likely for CFW.

Once again, doesn't look like anyone got banned for having hacked mons in HOME.

Tho, I was told if you place super bad hacks into HOME, that mon will become a bad egg, which cannot be released, cannot be shifted, cannot be traded.
It'll just permanently take up a slot in your HOME.

It's supposedly a punishment for people with hacked mons.

So if the Pokemon aren’t legal then it’s probably a good idea not to put them in HOME.

Yes. Else what is PKHeX to going open? PKHeX is a save editor.
