How do I add egg moves so they're legal?

I have a Tyrantrum, and I'd love to have some of its egg moves (basically the various Fang abilities to get the most of it's Strong Jaw trait. But I'm not sure how to go about adding those without the game telling me it's an illegal Pokemon.

Put them  in the relearn moves section.

But then I get a message saying "Invalid Relearn Move: Expected (None)".

Has to be an egg then.

Ah, so I'd have to set it as an egg, and set the moves it will hatch with?

Hmm, that's giving me a whole ton of errors.

Does someone know exactly how to go about giving Pokemon egg moves?

To be legal, you will need to do research. What pokemon amd what generation? What can it ACTUALLY learn as egg moves together?  Is it a real egg move? Use resources such as bulbapedia or serebii to find out. It will constantly give you errors until you make them egg moves in relearn section they can actually have as egg moves. I noticed you did not specify which egg moves you are attempting, what pokemon or generation it belongs to. You need to research to see what is legal, as in what it can actually get as egg moves in game.

I was trying with a Tyrantrum, that you can get in Ultra Moon. And the Serebii page lists moves like Fire Fang and Ice Fang as egg moves it can get.

I've not really messed with adding moves and such (except for the odd Pokemon I accidentally replaced a move I wanted on). But I've been going off Serebii's list, figuring that should all be legit.
