Wanderer Posted October 10, 2017 Posted October 10, 2017 Hi, since PKHeX already knows what's legal and what's not, why not add a function to the Batch Editor (or the main program) that changes all illegal values on all Pokémon to legal ones automatically? Like, if Pokémon do not have the expected relearn moves, automatically fill them in. Or if Pokémon can't have certain abilities in a specific ball, automatically change the ball (or the ability). And so on. I think this feature would be extremely useful. Have a nice day.
theSLAYER Posted October 10, 2017 Posted October 10, 2017 I think that it'll not happen, and probably not a good use of @Kaphotics 's time. Just because it knows what is legal, doesn't mean implementation is as easy as "snap fingers". I stand to be corrected here, but there are so many combination of factors that can make one thing legal, it's probably insane to "program it all" + some random factor, and to respond correctly to various proposed scenarios. Maybe there can be a simplified compromise here: Batch editor to convert all illegal Pokemon to hatched, and in Pokeball. however, user will still have to manually fix PIDIV-Nature correlations, bred moves etc.
sora10pls Posted October 10, 2017 Posted October 10, 2017 Most you could do as of now are use the $suggest commands with the Batch Editor. Example: .Met_Location=$suggest
