evandixon Posted August 22, 2017 Posted August 22, 2017 Citra 3DS is a work-in-progress emulator for 3DS games. Its compatibility has been steadily improving for years, but many games, including the 3DS Pokémon Mystery Dungeon games, were unplayable. Recent updates have made Pokémon Mystery Dungeon: Gates to Infinity and Pokémon Super Mystery Dungeon playable at full speed, even when using higher-than-normal resolutions. This will no doubt be useful for users, being able to play games with graphics that are better than what can be displayed on the 3DS, and game modders, being able to test mods without constantly having to copy files to SD cards. I played through the intro of Pokémon Super Mystery Dungeon with few problems, and I've made an album containing screenshots along the way, showing what it looks like when the internal resolution is 4 times greater than the 3DS's resolution (for a total of 1600x960). Ruby Genseki Posted August 22, 2017 Posted August 22, 2017 Wow, this is really good news! I've been trying my luck to get PSMD to work on Citra to no avail, gonna check it as soon as I'm free!
wrathsoffire76 Posted August 23, 2017 Posted August 23, 2017 At least we can now have high quality screenshots
