Is it possible to change your Trainer ID and Secret ID in Gen 4 and 5 with PokeGen? I can't find the place to modify it...

If I recall correctly Pokegen does not have that functionality.

However, PKHEX Is presently updated to support older generations, and it should have that functionality

wait seriously? even for gen 4 where you need to correctly have the seed and time frame so it doesnt cause problems with legit caught pokemon?

I remember how mad I was when I changed my ID in the beginning of the game and my shiny capture appeared hacked in Pokecheck cause my ID messed it up ><

Pokegen can change the TID and SID of the Pokemon, but not the trainer itself.

And you're right; at some point RNG and TID/SID relationships was discovered, rendering some TID/SID changes made illegal.

(there was a pika editor that could change TID/SID, I think)
