Contest Stats and X/Y Pokemon

I just realized that PKHeX flags Pokémon as not legit if their origin game is X or Y and they have Contest Stats that are not 0. But surely a Pokémon from XY can have contest stats provided they are transferred to ORAS and are trained/given Pokeblocks/etc no?

PKHeX only checks the contest stats if it has not been traded.

The error message reads:

"Untraded -- Contest stats on XY should be zero."

Since it has never left XY, there's no way to increase the contest stats.
