Favna Posted February 28, 2015 Posted February 28, 2015 Title pretty much says it all. Reporting this for a friend of mine who's getting a System.IO.FileNotFoundException when she tries to generate a QR code. She tried redownloading but without success. The attempted QR code to generate is from the default Abomasnow that shows when first opening the program. I personally can create a QR code of the same pokemon so it's quite an odd exception for pkhex to throw. The full exception text is below: See the end of this message for details on invoking just-in-time (JIT) debugging instead of this dialog box. ************** Exception Text ************** System.IO.FileNotFoundException: Could not load file or assembly 'System.Web, Version=4.0.0.0, Culture=neutral, PublicKeyToken=b03f5f7f11d50a3a' or one of its dependencies. To enable assembly bind failure logging, set the registry value [HKLM\Software\Microsoft\Fusion!EnableLog] (DWORD) to 1. Note: There is some performance penalty associated with assembly bind failure logging. To turn this feature off, remove the registry value [HKLM\Software\Microsoft\Fusion!EnableLog].
Kaphotics Posted February 28, 2015 Posted February 28, 2015 System.Web.dll should be included in .NET 4.0 http://www.dlldll.com/system.web.dll_download.html For me, it is located in: C:\Program Files (x86)\Reference Assemblies\Microsoft\Framework\.NETFramework\v4.0
evandixon Posted February 28, 2015 Posted February 28, 2015 Probably best to ensure the .Net Framework 4.0 is installed properly before inserting a DLL manually. Who knows, maybe System.Web references another DLL that's missing.
