pk3DS: Pokémon 3DS ROM Editor and Randomizer

I've been trying to find a way to edit the update information for a Pokemon X rom alongside the main game in hopes of making changes that don't disappear as soon as the updates are installed, but I keep getting this error message whenever I try. I've tried loading the update data on its own as well as combining the files between the main game data and the update data, but I get this message every time. I assume that it's because something involving the romfs folder is missing from the update data, but I honestly don't know for sure. Does anyone know what's going on if it isn't that and if it is that, is there any way to get the romfs data onto the update data so I can properly extract it?

The method that you're supposed to use to update your dump is to take the dump of the base version of the game, and then merge the update into it, while replacing the original files that overlap. Your should then be able to just edit it in PK3DS. When you install the mod files to your Luma mod folder, you're going to want to also have the update installed to the system. They shouldn't disappear when you do that. Did you do all of that?

And I forgot to mention that the easiest way to dump your base game and update is to use God Mode 9 on your 3ds. There are ways to do it if you can't use your 3DS at that exact moment, but I've never been able to get it to work.
