doll Posted July 26, 2009 Posted July 26, 2009 In pokesav's PID/IV, type 1 is Normal nds or gba, type 2 is wild nds or gba, 3 is uncommon gba, 4 is common gba event (unrestricted), 5 is never seen this B-A-D-E (unrestricted), 6 is never seen this B-A-C-E (unrestricted), 7 is very rare gba, and 8 is never seen this B-A-E-F (unrestricted). So, my question is what type should starter pokemon, roaming legendary pokemon, anniversary pokemon, wishmaker jirachi, faraway mew, and rotom (in tv) be. thanks in advance!

Starter = Type 1 Roaming Legend (NDS) = Type 1 Roaming Legend (GBA) = Type 1 ( IVs 3 through 6 are zero ) 10 Anni = Restricted Type 5 Wishmaker Jirachi = Unrestricted Type 5 Faraway Mew = Type 1 Rotom = Type 1
PokeMaster566 Posted August 30, 2012 Posted August 30, 2012 It's been a long time since I experimented with event pokemon in Pokesav, especially since Pokegen is now the new save editor of choice. I realize this is an old thread but i thought I'd add some information based on my experimentation with Pokesav and Legal.exe regarding event pokemon PID's. To my knowledge the types of event pokemon are as follows: Static Event Pokemon - must have the nature and PID that they came with, but their IV’s can be changed to whatever you want to change them to. Restricted Event Pokemon - cannot be changed at all. They come with set IV’s, PID’s, and Natures. Any changes will be detected as hacked. Dynamic Event Pokemon - can have any PID, any natures, and any IVS. The PID, natures, and IVS do not correlate. After setting the IV’s and the nature, just use the generator button in pokesav to get yourself a random PID. In this sense, dynamic event pokemon are somewhat like egg pokemon. However, the pokeball’s that they came in, any ribbons they came with, their locations and hex values, and the levels they were met at must all remain the same. Examples An example of a Restricted event pokemon is 10Anniv Celebi An example of a Static event pokemon is PKTOPIA Pikachu (it always has a hardy nature) Some examples of Dynamic Event pokemon are: GAMESTP Jirachi, Gamestp Deoxys, and GAMESTP Celebi *Spiky-Eared Pichu is a static pokemon. It has a fixed PID determined by your game, most likely through your ID and Secret ID. However, its IV’s are variable and can be changed without having to change the PID. If you change the PID it will no longer be legal. *Manaphy eggs from Pokemon Ranger and the resulting Manaphy(s) should have their PID-IV correlations treated like any normal pokemon in the game, so it should have a type 1 PID.
