.sps files

Hey guys! I've seen on gamefaqs .sps (gameshark snapshot) saves for pokemon Fr/Lg/E/R/S. I would like to create my own .sps file on VBA, and import it to cartridge. What cheating device do i need to import that save?

You need something that looks like this (there's a plethora of names for it):

They haven't been sold in years, so you'll have to dig around on ebay for one.

Hmm if i plug it to NDS, will it work? Cause i don't have GBA

I use VBA to import the .sps file and then save the game normally(creating a .sav file) then I just use rudolph's gba backup tool to restore that save into the retail cartridges.

Nope. =( I've tried. It only works in a GBA/SP/Micro.

EDIT: I wasn't aware of that tool; it's a lot easier than backing up/restoring with an AR.

That is what I have been using on my emerald for the 1 character nicknamed pokemon

Hmmm, is there a cheaper way to pal park pokemon from VBA? My shinies and 100lvls are on computer . Friend with NDS and flashcart won't work?

If you can be patient, PokeMod will (eventually) support SPS GBA -> Pal Park.

If you or your friend have a slot-1 flashcart and a retail GBA game this should work fine.
