Midnight Posted April 18, 2009 Posted April 18, 2009 If I recall correctly, there is a 1/256 chance of Mew appearing from a Pokéball. Same applies with Celebi and Jirachi, apparently. Good luck finding them. ^^ Something like what's in my spoiler, though, will need teh hoambroo channulz.

Turtlekid2 Posted April 21, 2009 Posted April 21, 2009 If it were the same chance of getting a shiny, most people today would still not have seen all of them.
pokemonfan Posted April 21, 2009 Author Posted April 21, 2009 true very true......manaphy I have seen twice, mew twice, jirachi none, celebi none.
Fallen Posted April 24, 2009 Posted April 24, 2009 I've seen Mew, Jirachi, Celebi and Manaphy multiple times. I could just be lucky.
pokemonfan Posted April 24, 2009 Author Posted April 24, 2009 True, however I think it is debatable. I thought that the chance of seeing a legendary was 1/256 throws of the pokeball. Since they are all legendaries the chances of seeing them are low if that number is true. Since there are so many legendaries maybe they are just overidden by the fact that the others have a higher encounter rate? I dont really know for sure.
Fallen Posted April 25, 2009 Posted April 25, 2009 Well, when you play brawl a lot and have the items edited to high it's bound to happen. I mean to turn a few items on like Smash Ball, PokéBalls, and a few other things, you're going to see PokéBalls quite often.
pokemonfan Posted April 26, 2009 Author Posted April 26, 2009 I know, I do that sometimes. I hardly ever see kyogre and that is the one I really want to get.
Fallen Posted April 26, 2009 Posted April 26, 2009 I may just be lucky. I don't see them crazy often, but I do get them a good amount of times. Deoxys, Kyogre, Groudon, Ho-oh, etc.
pokemonfan Posted April 26, 2009 Author Posted April 26, 2009 Really, well I think I've only seen kyogre twice, groudon a plethora of times, Ho-oh three times, Deoxys twice. I dont see them a lot. I see goldeens, munchalxes, and weavile's a lot.
Fallen Posted April 26, 2009 Posted April 26, 2009 Bonsly and Munchlax pop up the most for me. Especially when I really need something good from the Pokéball.
pokemonfan Posted April 26, 2009 Author Posted April 26, 2009 Yeah, me too. I'm down by a huge amount and I'm praying for that Kyogre. The pokeball hits my foe and guess what pops out. A goldeen. What is the point of those things??
Fallen Posted April 26, 2009 Posted April 26, 2009 Nothing really. It comes out using splash; which we all know does nothing..
pokemonfan Posted April 26, 2009 Author Posted April 26, 2009 Yeah, I always hated getting goldeen. Once I got three in a row I was frustrated, especially when my foe then got a pokeball and guess what came out, entei.
Turtlekid2 Posted April 26, 2009 Posted April 26, 2009 Goldeen was actually (albeit rarely) useful in Melee, as it had an astronomically small chance of using Horn Drill (I've seen it only once). Yesterday, I got both Kyogre and Lugia in the same match.
pokemonfan Posted April 28, 2009 Author Posted April 28, 2009 0.0 horn drill no way! Wow, and the kyogre lugia thing is amazing too.
wraith89 Posted April 28, 2009 Posted April 28, 2009 0.0 horn drill no way! Wow, and the kyogre lugia thing is amazing too. I saw Horn drill once if I am not mistaken... it hit Roy like crazy back in Melee... Speaking of Melee, I miss Roy and Mewtwo... especially since I love FE6, where Roy came from, and Mewtwo was my main character. What in the world did they do to the ultimate Pokemon? I mean seriously... it was BLATANT that they nerfed him so BADLY that he was not in his par. I think he's upset he loses to stuff like Pikachu and Jigglypuff and Pichu...
Turtlekid2 Posted April 29, 2009 Posted April 29, 2009 If they made Mewtwo as powerful in Melee as he is in the games, no other character would stand a chance.
pokemonfan Posted April 29, 2009 Author Posted April 29, 2009 yeah, agreed turtlekid 2. Also, I like lucario more then mewtwo. However, mewtwo was cool to use just because of his movements and how he battled with pure psychic control.

However, mewtwo was cool to use just because of his movements and how he battled with pure psychic control. I'd rather they not include him at all and save him from humiliation than his very weak counterpart in Melee... I still think Mewtwo > Lucario, even in Smash. Ever seen Taj's Mewtwo? He's pretty good.
Turtlekid2 Posted April 29, 2009 Posted April 29, 2009 What I don't like is that Lucario made it into a higher tier than Mewtwo.
wraith89 Posted April 29, 2009 Posted April 29, 2009 What I don't like is that Lucario made it into a higher tier than Mewtwo. Not to mention Mewtwo made it to the BOTTOM... BELOW Pichu...
NarutoEH Posted April 30, 2009 Posted April 30, 2009 Ha, Lugia is awesome. One time he appeared during the Ice Climbers Final Smash. The mountains size literally halved!
Fallen Posted April 30, 2009 Posted April 30, 2009 Lucario was more of publicity stunt for the game. Lucario and the Mystery of Mew had just been released and all that. He was the hot new Pokemon. Regardless Mewtwo is better. I'm sure he would have been slightly redone for Brawl, but being below Pichu is just...
pokemonfan Posted April 30, 2009 Author Posted April 30, 2009 Below Pichu! Wow, no offense but I always thought that Pichu sucked. It hurt itself with every move it made. Recently, I tried battling with mewtwo and it was just to slow for me.
