help with getting started

I have decided to look into pokegen, but im having some problems and was wondering if those of you who know how to use it would help me out.

I've downloaded pokegen, python, and ir-gts-bw. Now, when I try running gts, the program closes itself. after doing some research, I have discovered that I need to open the file using cmd prompt.

I've tried that and keep getting the message "program must be run as superuser enter password below. syntax error invalid syntax"

My laptop doesnt have a user password so what password is it asking for?

Sounds like you're using a limited account. Do you have a family member with an admin account on the laptop?

it's my laptop which has 1 account (mine) so I must be the admin (im guessing)

I just checked, and I am the administrator. Is there any reason why the gts program closes itself?

sezra, I can try loading ir-gts later to try to find the problem, but for now, have you tried Shiny2?

I cleaned up the last few posts in this thread. Please keep the personal bickering to a minimum or take it to Twitter or whatever where I won't have to deal with it.

rather than making a new thread, i thought I would post here. I have gotten everything working (finally lol) but am only able to send 1 pokemon at a time. is there a way to send multiple pokemon? I'm using the shiny gts software.

I thought it would involve sending a folder rather than single pokemon, but I only ever get 1 pokemon.

that's the program that only sends one. there's other GTS programs like shiny2 that you can set up to distribute down a list of a folder.

sorry, my bad, i have shiny 2. i select distribute folder, but i still only ever get 1 pokemon
