Exterminator Cola
I'm currently in the process of making a Pokemon web series with some friends. We're hoping to use three mediums for this: live action filming, dubbed art, and actual graphics from the game for battles. I was hoping to achieve the third medium by hacking a White ROM, but I'm not sure how to do what I want. I need to be able to change the character's sprite on the name selection screen, change the player's back sprite for sending out Pokemon, change the opponent's front sprite for sending out Pokemon, change the opponent's Pokemon, change what the opponent and other characters say during battle, change the starter Pokemon and their levels, and have the opponent's Pokemon use certain moves in a certain order, which seems like the hardest part. Are there any tools available that would help me? I'm not sure where to start.
Kaphotics
Changing sprites is done so long as you know their narc locations. Changing text is easy with PPTXT. Controlling opponent moves in a certain order requires TAS manipulation of the Mersenne Twister (randomness). The TAS aspect is only doable on emulator, and by those who have mastered controlling the RNG. I've posted that information at Smogon.

Anyway, I found a few tools to help me, but there are still a few more things I'm unable to do. KazoWar's tools helped me change overworld sprites for name selection, change the player's back sprites for sending out Pokemon, change the opponent's front sprites for sending out Pokemon, and change the opponent's Pokemon (thought I'm not sure if I can change their names). I can use PPTXT to change what characters say, but I apparently have to use something called assembly overlay (which I'm looking into) in order to add new text cues. I still have no idea how to change the starter Pokemon or how to change the trainer's Pokemon at the start of a battle. Is there anything else out there? Is there anything else out there? for edit starter via hex editing (here) , is easy to follow. Twistfatal was create tool for that but is just BW2 (here), BW by neltazero (here) For more specific just see my comment here, for editing trainer (on map not include PWT, subway , ect) for BW , kazo (here) , by neltazero (here), for BW2 for now edit via hex hehehehe. and here For structure data of BW2. Thank you for the starter tools. I may end up using White 2 instead of White 1, but I still have a bit of time to decide. I think I didn't use the correct wording when I mentioned changing trainers' Pokemon. I meant the player rather than the opponent. I guess it would be something akin to hacking Pokemon, if not exactly that.

Just use PokeGen to edit your Pokemon before hand, or if you wanted to magically swap what you have in your party you can just overwrite them with AR codes at any time (then overwrite them back later). Kinda gives the illusion that you have more than 6 Pokemon if you do it sneakily.
