Why don't this site use .pkm files anymore.

The title says it al why do they use another format now because I cant use this format.

I could use .pkm files but I cant use pgf because they just don't work with the gts method. This makes al the files on this site useless for me.

Because I would rather get a pokemon from a wonder card then for it to have someone elses name on it.

You can use pgf, but you haven't invested enough time, if any, to figure out how to use them.

thats maybe thrue but I cant use these files and I can use .pkm files also this way I have to send them to the right game first then trade it to my 5th gen game which is a lot more work as well. besides they used to have both here now only pgf.

and i cant use it because I want them on my regulair game not an r4

also I looked but I couldnt find anything usefull on pgf

just find a pkm on pokecheck, there's really no point in the site hosting pkm files anymore.

We don't host pkm files because the purpose of the Event Database (now Gallery) is not to give everyone the same, exact event Pokemon, but to give everyone the means to create their OWN, unique event Pokemon for their personal collection.

I dont see the diffence anymore with just pokesav them anymore then because you just said you CREATE them

Using the pgf means that when a Pokemon is generated, it will have its own, unique PID and IVs.

Hosting pkm files means that everyone who downloads it has the same, exact pkm.

I understand that but now you just have to have an r4 card otherwise its useless and not everyone has one and buyiing one is impossible here because they are illigal to sell or buy here

You can use Pokesav or something to get a pkm file from the pgf. No flashcart needed.

the problem is that it isnst legit then just a hacked pokemon. thats just the same as making a pokemon from scratch in pokesav

PGFs don't make legit pkm, either. They can make legal pokemon, but the only legit event Pokemon that you'll find will be at actual events.

You don't need an R4 or flashcart.

There are devices that will allow you to extract and insert your sav files of retail cartridges. This is what I use.

thrue but thats a gray area modifying with pokesav however is just black

there is a difference with how far people are willing to go and what the mass thinks is legit and what not.

and tell me how you can get pgf in your game without r4 cards because I doubt it possible since the only way at the moment for .pkm files is with an r4 trading them to your real card or the gts trick.
