phos Posted July 11, 2011 Posted July 11, 2011 I'm attempting to move a pkm file from my computer to my DS. I have the IR-GTS-BW program running to the point where it says it is ready to send, now enter GTS... I have also set my primary DNS to what it has told me. However when I try to connect to the GTS there is always a communication error. Is there any step I am missing? I think it's probably regarding something I'm supposed to enter on my DS with my router in the connection settings.
marcott42 Posted July 11, 2011 Posted July 11, 2011 Is your router secured so that your DS can't recognize it? Because the older DS' can't communicate with any secured networks
phos Posted July 11, 2011 Author Posted July 11, 2011 My DS is able to reach wifi with other games and the GTS without trying to connect with ir-gts-bw. I was just wondering if I missed a step with entering something.
Delta Blast Burn Posted July 13, 2011 Posted July 13, 2011 (edited) I believe you're supposed to change your secondary DNS not your primary Edited July 13, 2011 by Delta Blast Burn forgot a space
evandixon Posted July 13, 2011 Posted July 13, 2011 I believe you're supposed to change your secondary DNS not your primary No. Change the Primary. If the system cannot connect to the Primary DNS, then it uses the Secondary DNS. So, if the Primary is valid, it will never connect to the secondary.
TeamRocketCollector Posted July 16, 2011 Posted July 16, 2011 Also be sure that pokemon ir-gts is allowed through your fire wall.
