  1. PK3: Emerald Debug Pokemon

On May 18th, 2020, a Japanese debug version of Pokémon Emerald was leaked.
Later on in that year, on September 8th, an English debug version was then leaked.
This build is the same as the retail version of Pokémon Emerald in Japan, but with a large amount of debug features accessible + 5 Debug Pokémon inside (1 Treecko in party and 4 in box).

The English build pretty much had the localized version of the same debug Pokémon found in the Japanese version.

  3. PK3: FRLG Debug Pokemon

In the year 2020, a Japanese debug version of Pokémon FireRed and LeafGreen was leaked.
It contained various debug functions, and with them, debug Pokémon can be found.
Sub-routines previously found (that held Pokémon) were mainly: a Bulbasaur egg and a full box of Level 1 Rattata.
(Important to note, that this Rattata that fills up every space you have is actually just a clone, so one copy is enough)

Update: an English debug version was also leaked around a relatively close period to said original Japanese leak.
From the debug menu at the title screen, the player was able to effectively load a predetermined save file,
and such a save contains various Pokémon. However, it appears it was not properly localized, and the trainer name is actually in Japanese.
The Japanese debug also has this feature, and Pokémon from within were subsequently added.
[We will not distribute the Debug ROMs, and it is against our rules to ask for it]

  4. PK2: Unobtainable Trainer House Cal's Pokemon

In Pokemon Gold, Silver and Crystal (and later in Pokemon HeartGold and SoulSilver), there is a location called the Trainer House.
The Trainer House allows you to battle the trainer in it once a day.
The trainer will normally be the trainer that you last used Mystery Gift with,
however if you never used that feature before, the trainer you get to battle is Cal.

Cal's Pokemon are the final stages of the Johto Starters.
It was discovered in the games programming (gen 2) that there are 2 unused teams,
which features the 1st and 2nd stages of the Johto Starters, but it is not known how to trigger these battle legitimately.

This page hold all 3 of the sets mentioned before, from Gen 2.

  5. PK2: Unobtainable Trainer House Carrie's Pokemon

In Pokemon Gold, Silver and Crystal (and later in Pokemon HeartGold and SoulSilver),
there is a location called the Trainer House.
The Trainer House allows you to battle the trainer in it once a day.
The trainer will normally be the trainer that you last used Mystery Gift with,
however if you never used that feature before, the trainer you get to battle is Cal.

Carrie is a young trainer that frequently visits Goldenrod Department Store,
and when encountered in Pokemon Stadium 2, she can use the Mystery Gift feature with the player,
and will appear in the Trainer House in Viridian for the player to challenge.

This page holds the 3 teams that she can use.

  8. WC4: Debug Pikachu Card

Around September 9th 2020, a program was leaked, and said program allows the creation of 2 games: Slot-2 Distribution and Wireless Distribution. The program comes with a few templates, and it replaces part of the template with a selected script, in order to distribute the event.
From within either template (Slot-2 Distribution and Wireless Distribution), a Pikachu test event was extracted via hex editing.
If this template was used as the final slot-2 distribution game to distribute to Gen 4 games, the Gen 4 game will freeze.
Due to natures of the Slot-2 distribution game, only Japanese games can detect it thus far.
If distributed wirelessly, it appears that the card will be the exact same, except that a date is written by the receiving device.

[We will not distribute the Debug ROMs or the template ROMs used, and it is against our rules to ask for it]

  9. PK4: Platinum Debug Pokemon

Around September 2020, the source code for Platinum was in the wild, and the game could be compiled, with the debug features intact.

    Debug start
Debug menu on Title Screen (Select) > Debug Start
The player will start the game in Jubilife City, with 6 starters, being Turtwig, Chimchar, Piplup, Lucario, Croagunk and Carnivine.

    Pal Park Entry 1
    Debug menu in-game (R + Start) > Tamada > Pokepark Data 1
This first set has Charizard, Squirtle, Wartortle, Caterpie, Sandshrew, and Tentacool.
Given these entries have a Set PID of 0, they cannot be shiny.
Notably, the species encounter are same as the Diamond & Pearl Debug.
    Pal Park Entry 2
    Debug menu in-game (R + Start) > Tamada > Pokepark Data 2
This second set has Bulbasaur, Beedrill, Clefairy, Sandshrew, Tauros, and Dragonair.
Given these entries have a Set PID of 0, they cannot be shiny.
Notably, the species encounter are same as the Diamond & Pearl Debug.
    Box of Slowpoke
    Debug menu in-game (R + Start) > Taya > Current Full
This debug option fills the current box to the brim with Slowpoke, all clones.
Since the TID and SID is set to 0, they cannot be shiny.

    Box of Slowbro
    Debug menu in-game (R + Start) > Taya > Box Full
This box is full of Slowbro. There's 540 different Slowbro. Their PIDs are set, so they can't be shiny.

    3 Burmy in party
    Debug menu in-game (R + Start) > Tomoya > Test
3 Burmy added to party. Their PIDs are set, so they can't be shiny.
    (this option is notably missing)

    Roaming Darkrai
As previously reported, a Roaming Darkrai subroutine was found in the final build of the games.
With the debug version of the game, one is capable of encountering it.
    Debug menu in-game (R + Start) > Saito > Roaming Pokémon > Location Change > Darkrai

As usual, these files would be illegal and should not be transferred. Use at your own risk.

  10. ME3: Debug Eon Ticket

Out there in the wild, exists a German Language Debugger's/Developer's Edition of Pokemon Ruby Version,
which contains many debugging tools, including Mystery Event distribution subroutines.
Using the Mimic e-Card option in the Test Menu, the game emulates receiving an Eon Ticket,
which is notably different from the standard one players get from an official distribution.

  11. PK5: Uncatchable Legendary Beasts

In Pokémon Black and White, when players bring one of the Fateful Encounter Legendary Beasts to the Lostlorn Forest, an in-game event activates.

In the in-game event, you'll be approached by a camper, who would then growl and start a Pokémon battle.

The Pokémon battle starts with a Raikou/Entei/Suicune, but upon one hit it would be revealed that it was a Zoroark disguised using its Illusion ability.

As it turns out, the Raikou/Entei/Suicune at the start of the battle actually contains fully populated Pokémon data, that was obtained via a RAM dump.
These 'legendaries' are normally shiny locked.

  13. PK1: The "Hooked" Series

In Pokémon Red & Blue, a strange glitch was discovered by the GlitchCity old forums. (Less loud and more readable version here)
According to the report, it appears that after performing a variant of having the Safari Step counter time out when the boy in Pewter City take the first steps to bring you the the museum, talking to the boy again afterwards will result in a "hooked" Dragonite appearing, before freezing your game.
Jojo12100 was able to dump its info and replicate it, much like the process done for the Gen 1 Ghost Marowak.
Do note that in the data, it's level is 0. (PKHeX views any species with 0 EXP as Lv 1)
Besides Dragonite, other possible "hooked" encounters includes Metapod and Missingno. Those encounter are triggered by different conditions.
This page has an explanation of how Hooked Pokémon glitches work.

  19. PK3: Unreleased MYSTRY Mew and Hall of Fame entries

This gift was distributed in Toys "R" Us stores across the United States, distributed to commemorate the release of M08: Lucario and the Mystery of Mew.
It has been determined that 430 MYSTRY MEWs existed, though only 426 was used, and 4 were not available.
This extra 4 was created due to how the distribution procedure (when transferring to the save used by TRU) has to create 5 Mew at a time.
However, as the save maxed out on capacity, 4 MEWs, and 1 starter, was traded away.
This page holds the 4 MYSTRY MEW that were unavailable to players.

Additionally, besides the standard in-game trade Farfetch'd, every Pokémon found in the Hall of Fame of the MYSTRY Mew save has been dutifully recreated and added to here.
Recreation is based on PID, which can be used to infer the Pokémon's Nature, IVs, and even encounter slot.
Based on the data, besides Blastoise, based on encounter slot data derived from their PID,
it appears that the level shown in the Hall of Fame entries is the level they were caught at, meaning they weren't even leveled up.
Their likely use, was to be placeholder fodder, to take the brunt of attacks, while the player revives their Blastoise.

  21. PK8: Beta HOME Magearna

A Original Colored Magearna can be obtained from Pokémon HOME, as a reward for completing its National Dex.
However, a Lv.10 Magearna that had 15 ribbons attached to it was obtainable by players within a few hours on Pokémon HOME's launch day.
One reasoning, would be the devs were testing/creating the intend Magearna, and they didn't realize that this glitched Magearna was flagged as obtainable by player.
Given an official announcement wasn't given on how to obtain one, some players stumbled across it without knowing the requirements to receive it, hence it was not easy to replicate receiving one.

This Magearna was contributed by @RylDmn (u/RylDmn), and thanks to Xrex2 (discord) for reaching out on our behalf.
