    Stats judge?

I am currently trying to activate the stats judge function in Pokemon Scarlet. This was previously always found under the items, but I can no longer find the item there. Does anyone know where this function can be found in Scarlet/Violet?
  5. I think the problem is that it is not documented, and we can’t exactly perform “before and after” comparison to try to see what it’ll be. Short of reading the source or doing trial and error, I’m not sure how would one be able to identify the change.. Why don’t you just start a fresh female save, then import the progress from a another save, by importing the Event Flags/Constants block?
  6. So what would that mean my options are then? Am I just SOL & need to try and find a legit cart?
  7. That's just the initial fake Pokémon data loaded to the PKM editor. It's not YOUR Pikachu. Try editing it, you'll see it's just a placeholder template until you actually load a pokemon from party/box.
  8. The language of the events doesn’t affect the trade. Any language-trade shenanigans was related to the games itself, not due to the fact it’s an event. Example: Gen 3 carts could all trade cross-language, but you get weird issues when trading European mons with diacritic in name characters, display of European names in a Japanese game and what happens to the name when you evolve such mons etc. Gen 4 could trade cross language just fine, except with Korean games (language). They were introduced late and didn’t appear to be planned for, so no trading with Non-Korean games there. Due to not having Gen 3 Korean games, their Pal Park usage isn’t language locked. Gen 5, IIRC, no issues cross language trading wise. Region of the DS doesn’t matter. Main issue with language of the cartridge. So in this example, let’s say a ENG Diamond and a JPN Pearl. They can trade (doesn’t matter if ENG game was purchased in US or EU). They can battle. You only issue would be a KOR Pearl instead, due to the Korean Gen 4 issue mentioned earlier. But you could have just transferred the Mon into a Gen 5 game then trade there. minor edit: I think region lock was kinda an issue with 3DS/DSi and Gen 5 games (cause they have DSi features). But that’s about it. Don’t have to worry if you’re not using a 3DS/DSi console
  9. Thanks I have it very clear, finally a question perhaps too obvious, this does not affect anything to a local interchange of pokemon with cartridges of different language right? A European DS with the EUR cartridge is able to interchange your pokemon with another Japanese DS and its respective cartridge JPN, just as you could do a fight right? If I'm not mistaken the Wishing Ribbon only prohibited online trading on the GTS. I promis this is my last question about this
  10. NDS didn’t have region set into it. IIRC Gen 3 - Gen 5 had wonder cards limited to language of the cart (again, region wasn’t a thing for the device, and if you see it from the perspective that people bought the carts from stores in their own country, as most physical stores then [depending on country you’re in] weren’t big on just importing merch of other languages not native to that country, where that store only sold carts of the common language or the language spoken there, that’s technically the ‘region lock’ right there). If I’m not mistaken, only events like WORLDS had event distribution that mixed European and Asian languages, else it’s normally “just stick to the languages used in the area” type of deal.
  11. thanks for clearing my doubts, I find it so curious that they have limited the reception of these events simply to the language of the game, instead of the region of the nintendo DS, I wonder why it would be? So, I just have to make this change in my pkmn, right? Language:JPN and it would be legitimate in anyone's eyes. Thanks!!!
  12. No, gen 5 events are locked to the language of your game. For your second question, since the DS is region free and since the physical system has no effect on if you can receive events, you would be able to use an NA or PAL system with a Japanese cartridge to redeem Japanese events. The redeemed Pokemon would be the language of your game, which would be JP. That Hydreigon event is not able to be another language, only JP. A lot of western events had separate wondercards for ENG/SPA/ITA/FRA/GER, but I think most Japanese events were locked to a Japanese wondercard. I think the few exceptions would be the 2012 Singapore Fes Pikachu.
  13. Hi! please could you solve me these questions? For the 5 gen, I understand that there was no region lock, so could you fly to Japan from another Region with your European console and your game EUR version and go to a Japanese McDonalds and get your shiny Golurk/Hydreigon in the language of your cartridge? e.g. ESP? If yes, is it possible to receive it both locally and via wi-fi? When receiving the pokemon, the wonder card would be in the language of your game or in Japanese? If the above is not possible, would it be possible to get this event physically with an EU console and a Japanese cartridge? Thank a lot guys and thanks for your work.

  15. Ofc, I did rip a Pokemon Moon CIA trim from the cart, Betting it won't work tho edit: Found the cart. That'll work. Would make seperate thing but.. Daily post limit
  16. Checking my notes, I think your file is a raw cartridge backup similar to what a Powersaves device would do -- a rip of the encrypted save data. You'd need to find the original cartridge, as save files are encrypted specific to the cartridge.
  17. Contents of the attached 1MB file is either encrypted in some unknown format, or is junk. Either way, it's not close to the expected contents of a save file. I doubt you'll recover anything from it unless you ask for help from someone familiar with gm9 and how it may have given you that file originally and if it's something you can reimport.
  18. Hey! I just dropped in in hopes that maybe someone with a bit of technical know-how might be able to even salvage ONE pokemon from an... Odd save export. The story of how I got here goes as follows: I had just homebrewed my beloved 2DS, and I wished backup my copy of Moon. I had grown up with this save since 2016, and it meant the WORLD to me. So I, foolishly not doing research before charging ahead, made an idiotic decision. I used GODMODE9 instead of checkpoint or JKSM to get it. I had little knowledge on the fact that the save is meant to be.. 431 KB, not 1.005 MB. So I went along, thinking everything was A-ok. 'till I lost my cart that fated day. I had quickly gone to learn that.. It was corrupted, no doubts about it. I booted it up in PKHEX. No luck. I tried to re-export in in JKSM. No files. I tried the partial save fixer. Zero luck. I tried Citra, I tried everything.. And now I'm turning to the web, in hopes someone can salvage even ONE of my beloved friends. TLDR: Godmode9 screwed me over, can't do anything with (now) 1 MB save. I'm now looking for help here in hopes of recovering any scrap of data. Sorry if this post sucks, I'm new here.
