When trying to start game from cart a system error is displayed on 3ds. I dumped save with JKSV and when loaded with PKHeX it get the following Error. Any chance of recovering the mons from this save file? My nephew is the player and he doesn't have a clue how to do mods or anything of the sort so this is a corruption and not an error with trying to apply some type of mod. main

I've been playing Pokemon Sun on my homebrew'd 3ds. It's been working without problems the entire time except today I am suddenly greeted with a message saying that my "save file is corrupted". I haven't used any cheats or done any save file editing so I have no idea what the reason could be. I unfortunately don't have any backup files before the corruption.. but when I try backing up the corrupted file now using checkpoint it crashes the 3ds in progress, bjt somehow still manages to create the main.sav file. There's no problem with backing up other games though. I have tried using this backed up sav file on pkhex but it doesn't open it because of the corruption. Through some research I stumbled upon this SaveFile Tool Fix program created by theSLAYER in these forums. It recognizes that backup file as SM file but it doesn't allow me to click on Standard Fix button... not sure why. So my question is: Is the save file lost forever, or is there a way to salvage it still? Only thing I can think of is hex editing, but I have no idea where to start. Any help would be really appreciated!

Hi guys, I've been having some trouble with saving data on my soulsilver retail cart. After completing the game myself, I decided to save a backup and play in one of the contributed saves in the threads, this was about a year ago and everything seemed to work fine (i could save and open the game without difficulty). Recently I wanted to get into rng and decided to change both the sid and tid of the save through pkhex. Exported it and it restored perfectly. After about an hour of playing I decided to save the game and edit a few Pokemon through pksm (just a bit of fun, added pokerus into a chatot). Booted the game up, played a bit, saved and soft resetted. After the opening cutscenes, I got the blue corruption screen. Now whatever save I use, either a file found in the user contributed saves thread or a backup of the previous saves, the same results after saving the game happens. The main issue now that I think about it would be because I changed the OT/SID/TID of these saves? PS After a while of researching, I've realised that when saving the message reads 'saving a lot of data'. This lead me to the github page about an issue from editing box data in HGSS which caused this bug. Does anyone know any other ways to resolve this (don't really want to save multiple times due to the nature of RNG Heres the page https://github.com/kwsch/PKHeX/issues/2697 EDIT: Ignore this, ive found solutions

Hi guys, I downloaded PKHEX on my windows laptop and I just added some TMs, items, and berries in my bag on that save. I also made Froakie a shiny with max IVs and 252 EV on SpAtk and Speed and 4 Atk. Then, I uploaded the PKHEX save file I made to my Google Drive and then downloaded here on Mac since this is where I use Citra as I cannot use it on my Windows due to my graphics card. and PKHEX only works on windows. I really need it badly. Thank you! I uploaded the screenshot and the save file as well. main

Hey !! Today, I tried to modify my save of pokemon Y, and it wasn't my first time, I'm not a noob... I think ^^ but when I tried to re-inject this one in my game, I learn that my save is corrupted... To process, I use'd SAVeFL to extract/re-inject saves files, and PKHeX (lastest version) to modify the "main"s. I play on a not-physical game and my CWF is luma 8.2... but I havn't HBL... I finally decide to create a new save, to extract this, and to re-edit this one (boxes, badges, events in game...) with for objectif that it look like my original that I conserve on my PC, but when I go to "Trainers Info", I found '0x000' Value, '0x004' Value... What is that ? Can I modify ? Thanks to help P.S. : sorry for errors in ly english, I'm french ^^ EDIT : forgoten to say... I think it's an error with SAVeFL, cause of Secure Value or something of this kind... have you got a solution to replace SAVeFL ?
