so since Relic Song acted like Mega Evolution, but wasting a turn i was wondering how to make it have the same effects as Mega Evolving pokes such as Mawile, Latios etc.

Hello all, After replacing several NPC's overworld sprites on Route 5 in Pokémon White (by this I do NOT mean completely replacing sprites using the sprite editor, but simply editing a Baker into a Roughneck overworld using hex editing, for example), the game started to mess up in the following ways: the game freezes when trying to save on Route 5; the player's overworld sprite disappears when using the Bicycle on Route 5; activating the Cheren encounter script after battling Elesa doesn't show Cheren's overworld sprite (only its shadow); the same goes for Elesa when she appears to open Driftveil Drawbridge: only the overworld's shadow appears. I found out that everything works fine when I replace less overworld sprites. Could it have something to do with the header assigning a certain amount of overworld sprites, or does it have something to do with the scripts? It would be wonderful if somebody knows what's causing these problems.

Okay, I figured out how to get Garc files from my 3ds rom. My question now is: After I edited the garc files, what tool do I use to rebuild them, so I can then rebuild the rom? I saw GarcTool and GarcUnpacker, but don't think either of those will do the trick Any help is appreciated. P.S: This is for Omega Ruby, if that helps at all. Edit: Okay, I figured out it was Garc tool that I needed. I got the garc files repacked, now I'm stuck on the build rom part. I think the batch file has the wrong file location, but I don't know what it should look like

EDIT***** Being the idiot that I am, I did not read the rules even though I thought I did. I'm very sorry for this. I didn't know there was a tutorial in the rules and now I feel stupid. Hello, I'm interested in learning to edit ROMs, but I have a problem. I don't know how to even get the ROM on my computer in the first place! Now, I know better than to post something without doing research first so I'm going to go ahead and say I've searched Google pretty thoroughly on the topic and even after thirteen pages on the search engine with various keywords, I still haven't found anything on the subject. It's even been giving me Shakespere and Bible texts that have absolutely nothing to do with Nintendo. I don't want to download a pirated copy, either; I just want to know how to make ROMs out of the games I already own. So, if anybody could send a link to a detailed tutorial on making ROMs, or even write one yourself, I would greatly appreciate that. Anyway, I currently have possession of at least one version of every game from Platinum on, a DSi, a 3DS, and an Action Replay DSi (the one with the yellow sticker). The computer I intend to use the ROMs on runs on Windows 7 Pro. I don't want to buy another console, though I do intend to buy a classic DS/DS Lite at some point in the near future, but I am willing to spend money on other equipment to make the ROM. I just don't want stuff that's insanely expensive. As far as what I already know about the topic goes, I know that I need to get a DS emulator of some kind, but I don't know which one is best. A link to download one anybody here finds to work well would be great, too. Anyway, thank you in advance to anybody who helps and your patience with Umberisk the somewhat idiotic newbie! :3 Also, sorry if I put this under the wrong category; I wasn't sure where this would belong as I'm still pretty new here (even though I joined up back in May I kind of forgot I had an account here until I searched my username out of curiosity and wound up back here). ^^" NOTE** If you know multiple ways to do this, please do shaaaare~ My curiosity is boundless, even if I will go for the easiest solution.

Hi, I can't localize some hex codes, I mean hex codes that describes appearing an "exclamation mark" like it is when we go front to another trainer and he then wants to battle. I want to add an NPC that when we go front to him, he/she wants to talk with us and then he/she will give us for example a Dream Ball. I have these hex codes but I don't have yet hex codes I described here Can somebody help me with that script?

Hi I am trying to add a new trainer battle. I used Spiky's DS Map Editor 1.8.1 and in the section "Text Editor" I changed one name of a trainer, for example for Tommy but now I dont know how to change a name for Tommy in the "trdata / trpoke". Could somebody help me with that? I wanted also to know how to add new Trainers and Pokemon in the "trdata / trpoke". What I should do is to copy one slot and rename it? Then I must to know how to change the name of a trainer in "trdata / trpoke".

Hey, this is a question probably only SciresM knows the answer for but I'm going to ask it anyway I've seen SciresM's video on YouTube in which he showcased a map warping hack in XY. I'd like to try this out in ORAS to get to Crescent Isle easier. Has the information on how to pull this off already been available to the public? Or is there another way to make certain Mirage Islands appear, e. g. through Save Editing?

Dear all, Pokémon Black 2 & White 2 introduced the two-trainer Double Battles for another time. These are battles in which two different Trainers spot you at the same time and they will team up. This battling style was first introduced in Pokémon Emerald and exaggeratingly used in that game. In Pokémon B2&W2, the battle style was reintroduced, whereas Pokémon B&W will give an error if two Trainers spot you at the same time. Now, I would really like to implement this battle style in Pokémon B&W. My question is, will this be a matter of copying a certain .narc file from B2&W2 to Pokémon B&W to make this function? Hi I need to know what is the Haxorus Overworld Sprite code. I am using NPCE tool to change sprites of NPCs and Pokemon. I changed a lot of sprites but I can't find Haxorus's sprite code I couldn't find Emolga's sprite too. To check Haxorus's sprite I need to know what is the Overworld narc and Script narc for Nature Preserve, but I don't have 100% Save game and cant't check this :C Have someone the Pokemon Black 2/ White 2 Save game with Nature Preserve available???

Wondering if someone can help me out here. I Was able to get a decrypt file of pokemon y and edit some stuff to make it harder. but dont know where to go after that to make a rom. I try makerom but it kept giving me cant open gw.rsf help please

Hi, So, basically what i want to do is to change electabuzz sprite with thundurus sprite (both menu and in battle sprite). At first, I thought it can be done by altering some sort of pokemon sprite ID located on personal.narc (/a/0/1/6). But it look like there is none of it. There is form_sprite_start but a lot of it just zero, so I have no idea what's that for. The other method is by using Kaze Tool's BWSE. Unfortunately, it only works with pokemon trainer sprite, not with pokemon sprite. I always get an error "DSDecmp failed to decompress the file" when I use it. (I've managed to extract the content 4.narc (/a/0/0/4) file from the rom, resulting in 15065 files). Am I missing something from those two method? Is there any other ways to change the sprite? What tools needed to do so? Thanks

Sorry if this is the wrong forum or not allowed I was talking with a friend of my who helps me give out old Pokemon Events He was ta king a look at my flashcart the other day and told me about a program that could help me cut down the number of files I have by combinding 12 Wonder Cards into 1 Rom So I was searching and found Pokémon Duodecuple Distribution hack https://gbatemp.net/threads/pok%C3%A9mon-duodecuple-distribution-hack.285080/ I have been trying to get it to work but every time the program closes down. If any one knows how to use this program Could you make a video of how to use it

(Preferably with Soul Silver or Black) Whenever I try following text tutorials I screw up really bad..... I'm talking about Black 2 here. For example Sky Shaymin instead of regular Shaymin or Pirouette Meloetta instead of Aria Meloetta. Is it possible? I'm asking because I've made Female Tyrogue evolve into Meloetta (stats nerfed) and I'd like to know if I can make Tyrogue evolve into Piroutte Form instead of Aria.

Hello. I've been playing BlazeBlack 2 and I love the concept of making more Pokemon useful. I've further edited the Pokemon roster to make virtually any Pokemon a good Pokemon to have if trained properly. Same goes for legendaries, though. I planned on nerfing some of the OP legendaries and make them just as useful as any other Pokemon, but to do so, I'd need to lift the restriction on them in Battle Subway and PWT. I've already tried searching for AR codes for this, but to no avail. So I had a thought that maybe the game files could be modified to allow this. Is it possible at all? Because I didn't see any hack like this. If it is, could someone tell me more about it? Thank you.
