I got it at Mt. Battle by defeating all 100 Trainers in Battle Mode and untouched. I'm using version 20.03.14. PKHex gives warning as Invalid fateful encounter. 250 - ホウオウ - 4CF75ABC971B.ck3

  5. More precisely, I've been trying to encounter Lugia in the Whirl Islands but despite replacing the Rainbow Wing and Clear Bell with the Silver Wing and Tidal Bell, only the Ho-oh event triggers (the monk stops me in the WI). I tried using the same save file with SoulSilver, but still, only Ho-oh appears. It may have to do with the fact that this was originally a HeartGold save, in which case I would like to know how to change the version of the save. PKHeX doesn't have either functionality as far as I've checked but if it doess, please inform me.
  6. I've been replaying Colosseum and I finished the Mt. Battle challenge, but realized I don't get Ho-oh if I use my GBA team. So instead of doing the whole tedious thing over again, I was looking for a legit Mattle Ho-oh. However, I keep seeing them as all having the origin game of "Sapphire." Is this legit? Shouldn't the origin be in Colosseum since it's transferred to the in-game box? Thanks in advance!
  7. I know many of those get tickets, but I remember trying to give my trainer a ticket through PKHeX and it failed. I know that, if you go to Nintendo events, you get a guy to show up somewhere (dunno where) and give you the tickets, I'd like to make the save think I actually have this in my game, so I can get the tickets for the legendaries normally.

This event was distributed to players at the New York Pokémon Center: Gotta catch 'em all! Station, and the machine were distribuing various PCNY Pokémon across the period of November 22, 2001 to March 13, 2003. The schedule of Pokemon changes weekly, and players were restricted to collecting one Pokemon per week per visit, and the restriction was enforced by the distribution machine; it checks for data stored in the Gen 2 save itself. It appears that the data stored is the header/title, which is checked against the distribution data. This Ho-Oh has a 0.5% chance of occurring, and was always distributed as shiny. A more comprehensive schedule list can be seen here. The dates for distribution was: November 15 to 21, 2002 December 6 to 12, 2002 A more comprehensive schedule list can be seen here. DUE TO HAVING AN EVENT LOCATION, THIS POKEMON WILL NOT BE LEGAL WITH ANY VIRTUAL CONSOLE RELEASE (AND BY EXTENSION, CANNOT BE TRANSFERRED TO GEN 7 AND ONWARDS). If you want more Shiny Ho-Oh, or various other PCNY mons, @Deoxyz has compiled a save containing mons received from the PCNY distribution machine here. If you want to learn move information, check out these videos. [1][2][Q&A vid]
  10. Is there any way to obtain those legit, and if so, could someone do it for me, pleaes?
  11. Not to be misleading with my title, obviously you can not 'soft-reset' for these types of distributions. With the advent of being able to dump save files (what I equate to save states), I have questions about distributing Ho-Oh and Celebi. They are basically the same questions twice: Ho-Oh: You can normally only receive 1 per completed Colosseum save file. 1. If I were to save after the 99th person and dump the save, could I potentially keep defeating the 100th trainer, receiving Ho-Oh, transfer it, and then reload the save file to repeat the process? 2. If YES, to the above, will the Ho-Oh's distributed this way be unique? If they are not unique, at what point is the Ho-OH 'RNG seed' determined? 3. Could this same procedure work for obtaining all three Johto starters in XD? (saving of course only after the 90th trainer in this case because of Story Mode Mt. Battle 'Zones') Celebi: You can normally only receive 48 Celebi's on a GBA cart (with national dex) per a completed Colosseum save file. 1. Is this number (48) counter tied to the Colosseum save file? Does the bonus disk use any memory card? 2. Will a save dump (of Colosseum) prior to distributing Celebi provide for 'infinite Celebi's' off a single colosseum play through (assuming the save dump is reloaded prior to every distribution)? 3. If YES, to the above, will the Celebi's distributed this way be unique, or more specifically, the very first Celebi distributed? If the first Celebi distributed on each re-load is not unique, at what point is the RNG seed determined? Are there only 48 unique Ageto Celebi's in total for all bonus discs? 4. Are these answers the same for the Light ball Pikachu on disc as well? THANK YOU!
  12. Long story short i couldnt get the rainbow wing for hours, so when i finally figured it out i found the Event Flag for Rainbow Wing Received for anybody else out there who wants to bypass the criteria to unlock the upstairs of Tin Tower. Didnt really know where to post this but here ya go. Flag 822 : Received Rainbow Wing (Unlocks Stairs to Get Ho Oh)
