Oh yeah, you're right. Before I wrote "above 100" though, so that's my fault.

The only reason why the Fire starters are "overpowered" is probably because they represent offence. They kinda need the power, but they're usually all bad defensively... Usually.

Wait, they did try that in DP? Eh. Then they didn't do it well. I think the thing is you can't just "try to have personality", it's either you do or don't. How odd that Pokemon has it's own type of personality and yet none of the character's do. Okay some do, most don't.

I just think they need more relevance or character, or background. I was actually referring to the rivals (all four of them!!!) and how they might interact with you and the bad guys. Also, I will stay true to the belief that Team Flare could surprise us... And you may chew me out for this but I love their outfits <img src="<fileStore.core_Emoticons>/emoticons/laugh.png" alt="xD" srcset="<fileStore.core_Emoticons>/emoticons/laugh@2x.png 2x" width="20" height="20" />

They may be trying less hard to make the story interesting... Key phrase is "trying too hard".

Oh no, we're not glorifying our new Fairy overlords THAT easily by making them resist Water. That'd suck. I like Water for its high neutral coverage, though Water is too well-balanced for a typing that it's very ubiquitous.

I'd still like to know the new typing chart, and still hoping for Ice type rehashing, of course. But the addition of Fairy will make things interesting. And if it really is immune to Dragon, then I know it was made to balance the whole Dragon spam Outrage and you must have Steel to tank it metagame that went on before.

Yeah, humanoids creep me out. I encounter female Machokes in caves. Alone. Eeek.

Hmmm, that's some highly-intelligent analysis right there.

I honestly think Slaking was invented for doubles so that it's ability would be nullified, but people don't like to do that. It's too much work.

But I still love it, regardless of what people say ;(

Yeah, Glaceon is pretty powerful. We just need more fast ice types I think - and maybe more along the lines of potent special attackers, too. Most of them are made to be defensive, and some of the powerful ones are physical, like Mamoswine, Weavile and Beartic. Which is why I hope Froakie is Water/Fighting or Water/ice.

Also Helioptile has Dry Skin. My Suicune counter has come!!

Oh. I didn't realise you were making a Flying team. Durant, however, is redundant with most of the other physical bugs, but it will OHKO most that aren't Steel after a single Hone Claws with Hustle. But it needs to set that once or twice before it is effective however. Speed isn't a problem for it, but special defence is. Technician Scyther with Eviolite is quite dangerous and works pretty well.

Yeah, that works: I think Heracross sets up pretty nicely vs Golurk (I forgot its moveset though so I will have to check), while Flame Body (if it activates) will make Heracross scary. Beware of Iris's Haxorus: it has a Focus Sash .___.

Poison subtyping isn't actually a bad thing, except vs Caitlin. However, that Musharna's the easiest thing to set up against (I'm serious... dead easy, but a little harder in Challenge Mode). Set up a Growth or two in the sun, and you have a sweep right there. It's even better with Chlorophyll, but that's DW unfortunately. Venusaur isn't TOO slow.

Oh so you're playing the "different game" I see. Froslass is a tough one to use: it's not exactly what I'd call easy but she is mostly utility and some other craziness. Spikes, fast Taunt, Thunder Wave, STAB Ice Beam, Destiny Bond, Cursed Body... so many things.

Walrein with Thick Fat is not quite bad, but it is mostly outdone by things like Lapras or something. Why not run Super Fang + Brine on that thing? Too bad it cannot learn Scald <img src="<fileStore.core_Emoticons>/emoticons/unsure.png" alt=":/" srcset="<fileStore.core_Emoticons>/emoticons/unsure@2x.png 2x" width="20" height="20" />

Arcanine is just too recoil happy for my tastes, but it gets its job done. If you have the right support, it beats things very handily. Try to get Flash Fire because things are so WoW happy these days (particularly UU), but Intimidate is great also.

I don't like Poliwrath much either, but it's not hate or anything. Also Whimsicott is trololol. Great dislike for that thing.

Oh you did not tell me you were using Bulk Up. Okay that explains everything. And seriously you are lacking Ice Pokemon? There's so many Ice Pokemon in the lower tiers: are you sure you don't want to use Froslass or Glaceon <3? I ran a defensive Glaceon once that actually survived Hitmontop's Close Combat (taking 81% though) and abusing Snow Cloak. If only it had high HP those defensive stats would not seem like a waste... but it is scary with that Blizzard in Hail. If I remember correctly, Abomasnow is now UU, which makes the set viable. Abomasnow + Walrein: now that thing's annoying if Prankster Pokemon with Taunt don't come in and ruin the day. Hey wanna try Glalie? I really like Lapras, or even Jynx. Cryogonal makes great support, and Regice is nigh unbreakable.

Oh, hey Wraith. I just heard about the new pokemon announcment but... I'm not so thrilled. Let me explain. When BW2 came out, I knew it would be thelast pokemon game for ds. I knew the next one had to be on 3DS. Since the 3DS pokemon game would likely have 3D model characters in everything (Which I don't want, frankly) I feared the next pokemon game was going to be exactly where I didn't want the franchise to go, and when I saw the anncounment of Pokemon x & y, my heart sank. I saw the screenshots, and the franchise has gone exactly where I didn't want it to. I think pokemon is fucked now (sorry, but that's how I feel)

I know you are absent, and I hope you are doing well, but I am doing something that may be of slight interest to you...

I am doing an argumentative essay on "Video games". It'll be fun.

I am also making a "children's story" based on Crows which do their assigned role: eating carrion. The crows, being the bottom, get pushed around by other animals, and since they have had enough, they stop eating the carrion. Diseases spread, and then other animals get sick (I'm not sure if they die, but likely), and then when the Crows have gotten their vengeance or payback, they continue eating carrion again. It's about Karma and stuff, suitable for ages over 10. Why crows? They're considered lowly creatures, but are incredibly intelligent as they can use tools, such as keys. I also thought of the crows eating the dead bodies of the dead animals that once surpressed them, but I thought that was too dark...

It would have an eerier tone for sure. I'm trying not to insult children's intelligence.

Oh yes, Emerald randomiser is probably the more famous one. I like to start simpler with something like Red/Green/Blue... you gave me something to watch. All right, let's watch this. Though it looks like the randomiser is a different one than what is generally used.

That trade was lol. I don't even have a Nidoking, but once I find one in the wild, I'm going to see what happens. I talked to wild Snorlax and it became a Gloom. Even event Pokemon does this. I don't believe "CoFAGrigus" was intentionally offensive. Actually, I did not even realise the word was in it until some Trivia let me know.

It's a shrimp? I was thinking it would be some sort of crayfish due to its claws, but shrimp also works. Actually, Crawdaunt is already a crawdad.

Oh Tbolt is early like in the previous BW? Interesting. I'll try getting that. I don't have much TMs right now: I'm too early in the game for anything except Work Up, Return, and all that. Growly will be promising later on, but in its early stages, it's not all too effective I'm afraid. Thankfully it has Flame Wheel now at 17, so I'll be waiting.

Oh yes, Aqua Tail has that annoying 90% accuracy problem, but it's still powerful and will be very useful. Azumarill's OHKOing nearly everything with that, so it's a keeper for sure. Later on, yes I will get Waterfall. But right now, Aqua Tail is enough. So I have to buy Brick Break? Ugh... I will have to decide on final moveset on each Pokemon later. Also, I need Aqua Tail on Serperior. Is the blue shard tutor available before E4?
