Do you know how to script these events? I am brand new to any kind of scripting. I have been trying to use PPRE to script some of them, but the game freezes when I try play. I have been able to change some of the texts, but scripting has been frustrating. I like the idea of just editing movement permissions to allow free movement over the boulders. I have tried using SDSME, but it has been frustrating to say the least.

I am working on a ROM hack of SoulSilver and I don't know where to go next. I have 3 things I am looking for help with. I want to add some Team Rocket events in Kanto. Basically Team Rocket would be in all the caves of Kanto trying to find new Pokemon and it would end with the hero having to beat them again on their way to Mewtwo in Cerulean Cave. I was wondering if this is possible. I also want to change how the Elite 4 interact with you when you go through the Elite 4 the second time. It has always bugged me that they act like they don't know who you are despite the fact that you have already beaten them. The last thing I want to do is eliminate all the rock climb areas and turn them in to stairs so they can be accessed throughout the game and you don't have to have a Pokemon with rock climb to get to Red. Can anyone help with any of these?
