Can someone tell me how to make the medal guy APPEAR with this tool? (Not just make it "obtained" in the medal box)

I swear I was able to do a few months ago unless I'm wrong. Setting flag 3 & a date doesn't make the guy appear in the pokemon center.

Edit: I'm also unable to untick "obtained" after setting a date.

There's no way to get a Game Sync ID legit anymore. I just input a random Game Sync ID using PKHex but it doesn't show as it does on the right image (the save file that legitimately connected to Game Sync when it was open from 2013 - 2016 for Gen 6)

I'm wondering how I can get it to that state on the right image by save editting.

Hi, I have a question: How do I make the circled part appear? (Image below)

This is when I click on the "Game Sync" button in Gen 6 games.

I tried giving the save file that never connected to Game Sync (left one) a Game Sync ID using PKHex and the circled part still didn't show up. I'm guessing there's a flag that can be checked or a location where the ID needs to be written so the circled part shows up. The same for Gen 7 games. It's obviously impossible to do it legitimately now that Game Sync is gone. Any help would be appreciated if anyone has any knowledge about this. Thx a lot.

What exactly happens to your save file if you save on Sword v.1.3.1 and then revert the update then save on v1.3.0?

Edit: I tried messing with the event constants. I had a save "before 1 fan" and a save "after 1 fan". There was a difference, so I tried editting the "before 1 fan" save file with the difference but there was no change.

Someone please help. I’m interested in this too. My berries in my Ruby version will not grow. When I reset the rtc in pkhex, all my berries are gone. Can someone explain what’s happening and how to make berries grow again? Clicking “berry fix” option makes my “elapsed days” to 784 days and does not make the berries grow.

Kurt please explain to me what this is... I don’t understand? Is this the Battle Tower from RS or Battle Tower from the Battle Frontier in Emersld? Or are the records for both the same? What offset is “current wins”? And what’a the flag to “continue”?

That's because you modified stuff beyond TID/SID/OT. If you kept the PID/IVs/Gender/Ability as it is, you wouldn't get that error.

It is pretty early in the game (after getting to the city that has the port to go to liberty island) but is a from an emulator. If there's no problem with that I can give it to you.

Sorry for reviving an old thread but I experienced this just now with the latest PKHex. It seems like it's still not fixed. Another guy on Discord also said he experienced this so he had to use another editor. I editted my battle tower scores under "Misc Edits" and my Poketch disappeared. Restoring back to a save that didn't edit anything under "Misc Edits" makes my poketch come back. I never had this issue with my US Platinum save, only with my US pearl.

There's a workaround to this, you just have to get all the poketch apps legit and then you can edit anything under "misc edits" and everything will work as intended.

Is there any research still going on in this?
