Okay, this looks like an in-game team, and with little description of what they do and how they play. This is a forum for competitive battling, meaning things like EVs, nature, moveset, etc are all important. The stickies in this forum shows you the proper format on how to write these. Failing that, there are plenty of other RMTs here like this to see how other people do this. Try again later.

And you are pretty smart if you are able to make programs. Just took a look at your thread... all I can say right now is that you should move those images into a different directory. Putting those into main directory is cluttered and rather annoying and will overall look horrible in the final outcome if those are required files. Or you could put them in a compressed file or something and recall data from that?

You know those revolts and counterrevolutions and things: college kids were the patsies and the cannon fodders to start those kind of things. Of course, student demonstrators coming out of liberal colleges are the ones to start those "independence" things. Most independence movements from modern times came out all wrong. That's because all the Old World was destroyed in favour of this democratised globalised world with little to no sense of righteous nationalism and weak families, destroying incentive to even maintain societies. Not to mention all the displacement with people moving all over the world to settle in places they simply don't belong in.

I have not checked that thread in a while: I think I should, whenever I get the chance to. It looks like you have added Cacturne. Cool.

The funny thing is, ironically, the South is where all the culture resides, and the North was rather like the outskirts, so it was easier for the communist regime to make and form their own culture. But the funny thing is, they're more Korean than the Southerners are right now, minus the Leninist/Stalinist trash they put in along with sun worship and the 1984ish nightmarish stupid stuff. South Koreans are so arrogant and brash: I don't have enough rotten things to say about them. Their government isn't helpful either. The Northerners are deluded into thinking they have their independence while making US into their bully to justify their cruel regime. I do agree with them: the US is aggressive. South Koreans are puppets. They're right. But their government is a lot worse than their Southern counterpart.

I do believe in a healthy sense of nationalism btw. It's dying out.

Perfect example of broken language: African American who were former slaves. In fact, it was exactly what they did to them so they would not know the concept of "higher" things or what was animalistic or lower were their normal. I won't get there, though, but they are employing the same tactics they did to them as they are to the people right now. It has become more visibly apparent to me. Like, I understand some things cannot be helped. We did borrow extensively from the Chinese, but it's not always phonetically the same and it still was able to be melded into our own identity: some of our natural Korean words still exist: just abstract concepts did require Chinese. We just needed our own Korean script though (which King Sejong graciously provided), but now comes in a bunch of random things totally irrelevant and foreign to our culture. China was always our closest neighbour and friend.

I will say though, throughout history, Korea has always been subjugated by other nations. After their unification into Goryeo Dynasty, at one point, the Yuan Dynasty Mongolians took over Goryeo (until we fought for independence). Then Joseon willingly submitted to Ming China, and in the mid 1600s, we became a vassal of Qing China who overtook Ming China. We were suzerain to China, but at least we still were autonomous to much degree. Then the Westerner great power pressure came and we attempted to hold hands with the Russians... which failed because the Japanese beat them in 1905... and we were colonised by them until 1945. And Koreans are deluding themselves to think we are finally independent now. Lol, nope. We're US pawns and our modern culture really reflects that.

I, being a troll, uploaded the picture of HM King George III on my Facebook profile during the 4th of July. I'm sure I rubbed a lot of Americans in the wrong way. Happy Fourth of July... whatever that means.

Gen VI metagame speculation

So they finally made a Sword Pokemon. And it's Ghost/Steel of all things. Hm, this will suffer weakness to Fire and Ground, which is appropriate, I think. As for its STAB, Ghost is great against Psychics and other Ghosts while its Steel typing helps it defensively, giving it neutrality to the Ghost and Dark attacks it would normally hate and resisting a lot of other types, with 4x resistance to Bug and an immunity to Poison. I'm of the belief its stats will be lopsided, something akin to Rampardos with high attack but probably not enough anything else. It will most likely to be a physical attacker, and I don't really see it as a special attacker, unless Gamefreak proves me wrong. Slashing moves and Swords Dance are probably standard on this guy, but it will probably have strange Ghost attacks like Curse or Spite. Will-o-Wisp is standard on all Ghosts except Froslass (because Gamefreak hates Ice Pokemon), so we might see some of that. I hope it gets a stronger physical Ghost attack than Shadow Claw. It will probably get Shadow Sneak, but I don't see it getting Shadow Punch or Bullet Punch since it has no fists... unless it creates ghostly hands or stuff. It will probably get "Metal Claw" or some new metal attacks that are lacking currently due to this guy's physiology. I wonder if some elemental blade attacks would be created: that would be pretty awesome. However, that's kind of stretching things, though it would help many Pokemon out. I'm not sure how it would be a bad Spiritomb. Yes, Spiritomb has Pressure and no weakness, but that's about it. This Ghost/Steel is immune to Toxic and has more resistances, which is key here. Its two weaknesses are common indeed, but everything needs a weakness. Unless, of course, their role overlaps somehow, but if that should happen, this new Sword Pokemon's typing alone helps differentiate it... somehow. Unfortunately, that may render Spiritomb irrelevant. Oh yeah, Fairies. If Dark is weak to Fairy... then Spiritomb gets a weakness. Unless, of course, Ghost resists Fairy (please do!). If there is such thing as a Shield counterpart, now I'm afraid for it... because defensive Pokemon just don't seem to work anymore. Especially Ghosts. The trend for Ghost Pokemon is that they are low on life, so they either have very little HP (look at Dusknoir and Spiritomb) or the ones with exceptionally high HP (Drifblim) has low defences. I imagine such a counterpart to be an avid user of Will-o-Wisp or Toxic stalling, but may be granted Counter/Mirror Coat/Metal Burst as indirect forms of attack, and I believe much like Shuckle or Bastiodon, its stats will be lopsided to provide more defence than attack, if it has any visible form of attack (most likely specially inclined). Watches this thing be a rip off of the Millennium Shield. Those two also have low HP to balance out their high defence, but I don't like it when things have low HP: it makes them easier to destroy. This is assuming this exists.

The thing about Korean: it's completely phonetic. With the Korean alphabet, you can make any words that it allows you to with its given alphabet. Even though there's a lot of words that are based off Chinese loanwords and some natural Korean words, a lot of foreign words come in, like 아파트 (A-pah-teu)... which is a corruption of the word "apart", which means apartment. The Japanese calls it "a-pa-to". I don't call these anglicisms real Korean words. I understand if they're things like names or things that are of foreign inventions with no way to express it in Korean or Sino-Korean, but we already have word for chicken or potato, so stop calling them "chi-kin" or "po-ta-e-to"! North Korea avoids doing that to remain purely Korean.

Yeah I meant for both... and generally, I just want to belong and stop feeling like a weirdo. I always saw Canada as the loyalists who did not absorb itself to America, so I respected that. Nowadays thanks to globalism... yeah nothing different.

It's very disturbing for Korea. A lot of South Korea's words are either remnants of Japanese occupation or US imperialism. I strictly follow North Korean vocabulary whenever I get the chance to, since they try to avoid foreign loan words as much as possible. I need to learn most of it, however, and most people here won't understand some of it. But it comes as a part of forging an identity.

Random: 호치키스 (Hotchkiss), is Japanese and Korean word for "stapler", which is a German loan word, which derives from the name of a person who is credited to inventing the device.

A lot of my feelings of inadequacy comes from the lack of identity and the power to change things I want to.

I love this style too: I have lots of Japanese backgrounds of this sort (I wish South Korea did the same)...

Typhlosion getting Extrasensory was just some random hereditary move that really makes little sense to learn naturally. But I think Fennekin makes sense to become some Psychic Pokemon, as foxes are generally cunning, deceptive, and are more intuitive than physical. It makes one wonder why Ninetales is pure Fire, but its movepool suggests the inner ability type of Pokemon anyways. I guess we'll be making more Victini-typed Pokemon then. Fennekin, although cool, just seems boring as a concept. A speedy, offensive Fire Pokemon: it's used almost every time. Well, Emboar is the only one that doesn't go for the speedy type, but still... unless they surprise us with a bulky Fire type with a myriad of support options. I wouldn't be against that actually, except Fire makes a poor defensive typing and makes a great offensive typing. Chespin getting Rollout making it a Rock type makes as much sense as Quilava having Rollout makes it a Rock type, although a hard shell does suggest it may go that direction. However, being a Rock type would be interesting, as there is only one other notable Rock/Grass Pokemon I can think of (Cradily), which with its great defences and rather peculiar typing allows it to be quite a force to be reckoned with. Unfortunately, that's all it had for it, as in OU, it would fall prey to the many Fighting attacks and stray Ice Beams and Bullet Punches. Not to mention its neutrality to Water and Ground, so in reality the typing may actually be detrimental than beneficial. Oh and U-turn weakness. I don't know how Cradily managed to be annoying though... I guess it is because of its random typing people tend to forget how to deal with it. But if its stats are less than stellar (they usually do not go extremes with the starters and tend to make them more "balanced"), don't expect Chespin to make much impact. I still think it'd be cool if for the first time, a Dark Pokemon comes from the starter lines. A lot of random things do get Bounce, and its only appropriate a froggy would get Bounce. From its design, it looks like the agile and power striking Pokemon. God forbid we get another Water/Flying, though that would be cool with some flying lizard-like Pokemon much like Charizard. However, we already have things like Gyarados, though it doesn't strike me as Flying. The froggy looks like it will go the offensive way, but I don't see it getting defence unlike its previous Water type starter predecessors. The previous ones were generally lacking speed, but were balanced in almost every other aspects. They had the defences and offences to be tailored to whatever they would like to become. It looks like Froakie may be the first to deviate from the norms and may go for some form of an extreme. That's what I see at least, but they can always say "lol nope Seismitoad" and decide to make him some big bulky frog and end that way. Also, this frog doesn't have tadpole form, while another certain tadpole line ends up as a tadpole in the end. :|:|

What particular genre of books? I tend to read historical nowadays... though to anybody in the world I would recommend the Bible (which means The Book in Latin anyways), particularly King James Version due to its eloquent English and its unadulterated content (modern versions are bastardised versions that take liberty with this and that). Asides from that... yeah again, what genre? Fiction? Non-fiction?

Oh, and Happy Canada Day... whatever that is. I don't know why South Koreans in English class are even commemorating it (next thing you know they'll celebrate 4th of July even if it has no significant historical significance to Korea). God forbid they ever celebrate 14 July... oh noes. Oh God no. 17 July is where it is at for us Koreans (or at least it should), but unfortunately, it also coincides with the day the Romanovs were brutally murdered. Ugh.

It's because they're trying to be something they're not. In fact, in all of history, we've never been ourselves. Goryeo Dynasty was once subjugated by the Mongolians of Yuan Dynasty, Joseon Dynasty was in a suzerain relationship with Ming China (then Qing China), later the Japanese took over after fighting wars with Qing China and Russian Empire... and we even tried to hold hands with the Russians before they somehow lost. Now South is completely American, North is, well, it was in a threesome with Maoist China and Soviet Union. Now it's on its own. But even so, at least when it was in a Chinese suzerain relationship, it was something one could call distinctly Korean, as they were still autonomous nonetheless.

Strangely enough, I always had that feeling I wasn't good enough. My mother keeps telling me I'm good enough nowadays trying to make up for all those times I didn't feel adequate, but... the damage has been done.

Well, sense as in easier to talk with... and you're cool. Most Koreans are idiots: they've lost their identity and I'll be driven insane if I hang around with most of them. Just 10 years ago they still had their common courtesy. Now they're the most ugliest, boisterous, ethnocentric yet delusional, pompous most spoiled brats in this world. You know today's youth and how "entitled" they feel? In the global community, that would be the South Koreans, except multiply that by... 10000? I know I talk badly of foreigners here, because I dislike their presence and how out of place they appear, but I don't have enough rotten things to say about my own kind. It's maddening.

Social awkwardness by brothers? At least it's nowhere near as embarrassing as girls doing it perpetually, but I understand. Although I'm the older brother of the two sons.

Yeah this is a Korean thing, not really what Westerners watch anyways. But I just felt like describing it.
