So in short, don't discount NU Pokemon: they're fine, generally. Some serve great counters to OU Pokes anyways, but it's best to play NU in the NU tiers, for the most part.

And... don't look at roles as dictionary definitions. I can help you out with this if you want. It'll take a lot of explaining, and assessment. You'd at least have to know all the Pokemon you can potentially face and how to deal with them. If not, at least create your team to be balanced so it can take out as many threats as possible. Basically: it's about closing the holes.

NU doesn't mean horrible. I can use NU Pokemon just fine, even in OU. It's just as long as a Pokemon can be used properly and be used to fulfill its role. I think your Raichu has served you well for the most part.

If you want to get better, I suggest you do. If you want to play with your favourites, that's fine too, and I do that, but it's best not to overlap roles to be efficient.

Don't worry, tis fake. But... I think it's partially correct, unfortunately. I completely realised how underpowered the Kanto birds were in relations with the newer legends. None of them even learn a buffing move that isn't Agility, and all are outsped by the newer ones... good grief, the highest is Zapdos at 100 <img src="<fileStore.core_Emoticons>/emoticons/unsure.png" alt=":/" srcset="<fileStore.core_Emoticons>/emoticons/unsure@2x.png 2x" width="20" height="20" />

At this rate: you're just adding individual Pokemon without really thinking about each particular roles. While Arcanine is powerful, an additional Stealth Rock weakness may not help in the long run. And yes, you did copy that set from Smogon. Teams require thinking: it's not as simple as adding 6 random Pokemon and becoming one. It looks like you have an "FWG core", but it's not really solidified as their roles are all over the place... and Empoleon is the one trick penguin that won't work after you failed once.

Potential leak of all the Mega-evolutions. What if this was true? I'd be yelling... see how Scizor and Heracross are there but no Pinsir? .___.

For Gen I it looks like the starters, trade evolution, one of the dev's favourite Pokemon of all times (Exeggutor), Lapras because of obligatory dragon, pseudolegend, and Mewtwo. Ugh. Some one stagers, though, seem to get it (ACCORDING to this picture: don't take it as the Word of God). But Galvantula and Scraggy? Zangoose but no Seviper?

... why isn't Hydreigon there? That means it's fake. And no Farfetch'd. FAKE.

It's not so much that they didn't notice... and even so, her son Thutmose III got rid of any memories of her... at least tried to purge it all. He didn't like her mother much apparently. I'm starting to think perhaps Hatshepsut is the princess who found Moses in the river bank, but I'm still uncertain about it: people say Ramses II is the pharaoh of Moses's time after his 40 years in Midian... but even so, I'm still uncertain as well. I still do lean towards an earlier Exodus though, as Akhenaten sounds perfect for a pharaoh who actually went towards monotheism and had a dead son (Tutankhamen)... though King Tut supposedly was the one who tried to bring back earlier Egyptian gods... I won't get into this. It is all so complicated, and nobody knows history for certain.

That Empoleon certainly isn't lead, now is it? I generally see you lead with a Golurk, but I think somewhere along your team somebody with STEALTH ROCK would help. You don't want to see your Empoleon sweep ruined by the likes of Sturdy Pokemon or Pokemon holding Focus Sash, now do you? I do think Golurk would do well with Stealth Rock on its moveset and getting rid of Subpunch, but that's up to you. I see that some of your Pokemon are set for sweeping, but in reality, you don't really need more than one Pokemon designated for that role. I honestly think you need some supporters and any revengers, like making that Raichu into a Choice Scarfer with Volt Switch, as relying on a fragile Sawsbuck for Thunder Waving isn't always reliable (not to mention some Pokemon are IMMUNE to Thunder Wave). Asides from Togekiss and Beartic, none of your Pokemon are particularly weak to Stealth Rocks (2 that resist it), so Spinner isn't completely necessary, but might help if you get stuck with some guy spamming Toxic Spikes and Spikes. That being said, I don't think you still have a solid answer for Arcanine: you generally hope that it'd go down by recoil until it takes down 2 or more of your Pokemon. And don't you wish your Beartic sometimes did a LITTLE more damage? Like... leaving physically bulky Zapdos with 2% HP wasn't exactly what you had in mind, was it? That Beartic would really like a Choice Band. And perhaps you don't really like Choice items, but with a moveset like that, it's really begging for one. Especially because of Superpower, which already means you're playing hit and run with that Pokemon (generally staying in after using one Superpower is a bad idea). If you don't like Choice Band, Life Orb helps with versatility or more power. If you don't like Life Orb's recoil, you can still downgrade to Expert Belt, 20% boost for being super effective, and feigning Choice item. Also, at first I was skeptical at your Sawsbuck, but seeing how it actually took less than 50% from 0 SpA Zapdos Heat Wave and taking relatively low damage (still breaks Subs) from STAB Psychics, it's not too bad (though I think there are more bulkier Grass Pokemon to do that job, really...). Serene Grace helps it none, in fact, it's useless. With that spread, you sometimes with Sawsbuck was doing more damage than a measly 17-26% with STAB moves and the likes. Get Sap Sipper: not only do you annoy Pokemon that spam Giga Drain/Sleep Powder and the likes, but you also get + 1 Attack boost just for switching into one, meaning it will hit harder, force a switch, and you can proceed to Sub and Thunder Wave incoming Pokemon if you wish. I do like how it is unexpected, but seriously, SAP SIPPER.

Hatshepsut isn't really a rebel (I use kings and queens for other team)... and that Gardevoir doesn't really fit in the team with that set: Gardevoir would do better as support.

Pokemon X and Pokemon Y Speculation Thread

Actually, it says Fennekin is just Fire, and it has been confirmed that Fennekin is pure Fire. Only Pokemon that started with dual type was Bulbasaur, as most Grass Pokemon of Gen I were partially Poison. I think it is only talking about Kalos Pokemon list, like in BW when it was released, and not what is in the game and what isn't. You know hidden secret legendary Pokemon don't even need to be seen nor caught to be registered as full Pokedex... and even so, this wasn't a list so one can decide it's real or not (it most likely isn't, but there's still the possibility that some or all of it can be true). It was to spark an interesting conversation about the possibility of the new X/Y Pokemon. After all, it is a speculation thread. (For the record, I'm not quick to accept it as real, especially due to the inclusion of "METAL" type and the fact I cannot find anything that's too similar to the new Alpaca looking Pokemon that was revealed...)
