Hello. You seem to be new here and quite active around. It's quite rude that I haven't introduced myself I suppose while I started, well, replying to your sunny day team thread.

They call me Wraith and I was into competitive battling for a while. Well, not anymore. I'm into experimenting with crazy things like Pidgeot or Luvdisc and making them work... in standards. Crazy right? I battle with things I like, not with stuff that are "best at doing things" (yes I use Heracross over Lucario/Scizor). That's me in Pokemon battling in a nutshell, but due to school and whatnot, I do not battle a lot. Just hoping we'd get to know each other since you seem like a cool person... at least for this while. If you're looking for competitive battling help, you ought to consult people like Gin or Tbird or Sabeta I guess... since they seem to know what the metagame is like up to date. PP's competitive community is not huge as you can see <img src="<fileStore.core_Emoticons>/emoticons/unsure.png" alt=":/" srcset="<fileStore.core_Emoticons>/emoticons/unsure@2x.png 2x" width="20" height="20" />

Boring science classes and some interesting history classes. But you see... I like to teach stuff to myself by doing my own research. Stuff like the Romanov Dynasty is starting to intrigue me once again... their murder was unjustified.

Blah, you probably wouldn't be interested in that. Go ahead and play your... games. Never played Unreal or anything though, so I don't know much about it nor its premise.

This one was my Gen V team, but you may want to consider better new Pokemon, maybe Thundurus or Excadrill or something. They tell me Shadow Tag Chandelure still is not banned, and that's ridiculous.

Hydreigon is a STALLbreaker, a completely different thing from wallbreaker. You put things in a "checkmate" position (as Tbird puts it) and can do other nasty stuff, especially with TAUNT or U-TURN. Draco Meteor + Fire Blast is the icing on top. You use Draco Meteor and hope for Blissey to switch in, use Taunt, and Crunch the pink blob to death. That way you have Blissey out of your way. If you'd like put Crunch + Earth Power. I know Dark Pulse is much better for running off his special attack, but more Psychics are fragile in the physical department, and you can actually damage Blissey, and 105 attack power is not bad.

Usually most waters survive one Electric or Grass move, even with STAB... unless it is significantly boosted. Alomomola is an alternative to Vaporeon, methinks, since both play similarly but have different quirks. Vaporeon also has more power than Alomomola while Alomomola is more physically defensive and stall oriented.

Haxorus survived a + 6 Return (-__-) but I still managed to solo her team with Serperior. Problem is, there's not enough good Ice types in this game, and I refuse to Haxorus through. My other Pokemon like Azumarill or Arcanine with Outrage would probably have worked, but I didn't use them. In fact, I soloed the whole league with Serperior, just like in BW... except I could actually take that Chandelure down thanks to Aqua Tail. So I beat everything with it... EVERYTHING. <img src="<fileStore.core_Emoticons>/emoticons/wacko.png" alt=":S" srcset="<fileStore.core_Emoticons>/emoticons/wacko@2x.png 2x" width="20" height="20" />

Cyrus's movesets in Platinum was actually good (competitive game remember?)... he even stuck Heat Wave on his Honchkrow. What did your friend import 6 Alakazams from his Red version thinking it would uberw00tpwn them? Actually, yeah, all of them are weak to Rock, but Gyarados can be troublesome along with Crobat's Confuse Ray nonsense.

Nah, I just got too lazy. I'll get it eventually. I need to train a certain Ice Cream, which is more of a burden than a boon because it dies to anything and requires babying until 35 to evolve...

I'll summarise it later. It was interesting and quite annoying at the beginning to be frank.

I was assuming you were a fan of it, but yeah okay. I can't train that thing: it's too hard. I'll do it post game.

It's more like this: the evolution of Klink... first two guys side by side... eventually one becomes bigger, which means Japan is overpowering its neighbour Korea... and eventually, the two become one in a sense... where one is all but just a cog part of the other, with Japan exerting its dominance and superiority. But rather than specifically Korea, we can also think it's European influence over Japan as well. Or Japan and Formosa... or even Japan and the rest of the colonies she stole in the 1910s and beyond. Unfortunately, 1910 is when Korea was taken over.

Also, while I said physical Togekiss is bad, there are some variants that run HUSTLE + Extremespeed + buffing move (like Work Up) because it's unexpected and with STAB, that still hits quite hard. The missing, though, is the annoying part.

Found the perfect counter for my Aegislash in Battle Maison: those... stupid... Litleos... with Flamethrower. At least a + 2 Iron Head OHKOs it.

Also, Gale Wings Talonflame is OP. I don't even know what counters it despite 80 Atk. Priority Acrobatics? Swords Dance? That's really unfair. Do I have to resort to Tyranitar to counter this and rely on Stone Miss? I only have Auroros as Rock type atm, so thankfully Ancientpower OHKOs it. But still... crazy beast.

Did they seriously take 10 points away from MegaHera's Speed and add to its SpA???

Moderating is a little more tedious than I thought o_O

Some people tend to post stuff like "they sucked" and end the post like that. I really don't know what to do. Am I going a bit too... gentle on them? I can get mean, but I'm not the type to be so vicious when posting >_<
