  1. Your Rayquaza seems to be illegal indeed.

    • This Rayquaza was obtainable only in BW1. Yours says it's from Black 2.
    • It was a Japan-only event, therefore, its language (but not necessarily its region, since it's a pre-G6 Mon) should be set to Japanese.

PKHeX overlooks some things, so you should do a bit of research yourself in order to make sure your stuff is all right-- here, try this one.

  2. So...while unsuccessfully looking for something I decided to go and complete this other thing I was doing a while ago, which allowed me to find out a couple of extra things:

    • Aether Paradise's floors 1 and B1 actually have another variant each. While regular 1F's ID is 197, there's an identical map with the ID #198.
      59d84b904324d_AetherParadise1F(SecondVisit).png.eb36c2fdcf8e6fc52370d6a8d94760eb.png
The only difference is, as you might see, that this version's got a single NPC, whereas the regular version has this very same NPC among several others.
As for the B1F, its map ID is 200, but there's an identical map with the ID 201.
      59d84b94d4df3_AetherParadiseB1F(SecondVisit).png.fab406f1202b8ba4a3236694e59b8d19.png
It's got several employees on it.
I came across these two maps several times in the past while looking for other things, but never took the time to explore them a little bit. Now, as you might've already guessed, I've found out they're the variants used during the player's second visit to Aether. The employees in B1F can be interacted with, but I didn't manage to be able to rebattle them even with a rematch code.
      Spoiler

      Coordinates:

Aether Paradise - 1F (Second Visit)

    • Another thing I found was a buggy Festival Plaza Map. It's most likely the real thing, but since I simply warped there and it's some sort of "special" map, it couldn't properly load.

-These coordinates will actually leave whoever uses them off the map's limits. I chose to put it this way due to the game crashing as soon as any input is selected when warping directly inside the map. (As you can see, the coordinates are actually the same I used for the Festival Plaza map, being the Map ID the only difference)

Not a new USUM mythical? I thought I read that they added species?

Oh, they've indeed added species, three of them have been revealed so far (all of them are UBs).
But, whereas it'd be nice to see another mythical (and knowing how common if for mythicals to determine how long a gen will last), I have the feeling that this gen is gonna be relatively short. Have you seen the last anime opening?
(This contains actual spoiler, so don't open it if you aren't up to date with the SM anime)

    Spoiler

It already shows Gladion's Type: Null evolving into Silvally, Lillie's outfit change, and Ash's Pikachu exclusive Z-Move.
Nebby and Aether are already in the show as well.

  4. The problem is that your Hitmontop was sent over to gen 5 at Lv. 12, and thus, as a Tyrogue. Tyrogue itself cannot learn Sucker Punch, so it must be a Hitmontop in order to do it, and it doesn't evolve until Lv. 20.
    Look at this:
    image.png.645795e530a01d408494c01da01d99da.png
By changing the met level to 20, PKHeX takes it was indeed transferred as a Hitmontop, and therefore it's now legal.

  5. Then I guess I'm some sort of witch?
Hahaha, jk. All you gotta do is to de-select any custom clothes you're wearing, and then, ta-dah! default clothes!
    image.png.793dbd895d80a13044ae9c283ee235eb.png

PS: It has nothing to do with your topic, but I'll have you know anyway, you've got several poorly hacked Pokémon in your living Dex. You've even got N's Zekrom from Black (I guess obtained via some "Catch Trainer's Pokémon" cheat).

  6. 3 minutes ago, Holla! said:

what if they had n00b programmers that accidentally programmed it to be Shiny (then quickly rectified it) like that one Japanese Mew?

Well then, if it is actually possible to legitimately get the Wonder Card for at least a short moment, then they'd be forced to consider the shiny thing as legal since they released it themselves. Someone'd be fired, but I dobut they'd simply say something they released themselves is not legal.

  7. These Pokémon are simply poorly generated.

    • Banette's PID type is that of a hatched Pokémon.
    • Dusclops is supposedly from either Colosseum or XD, whih means it was purified at some point, and thus, it should have the National Ribbon. It nature doesn't match its PID, either: while it's relaxed, its PID says that is should be jolly. It seems to have the PID type of a hatched Pokémon, but since there's no breeding mechanic in its origin game, it's impossible for it to legally have it.
The Seismic Toss move is flagged as illegal. This is due to the Pokémon being apparently leaving gen 3 at Lv. 19, and since it couldn't be a Dusclops until Lv. 37, the program assumes it evolved on a later gen, and therefore, it was unable to legitimately learn Seismic Toss since it should have been a Dusclops in gen 3 in order to be able to do it.
    • Togetic has got egg PID type as well. That seems to be the only issue with it. There's also this thing about the fateful encounter flag but I'm not sure about it.

Probably, these Pokémon have some PID-IV mismatch as well. Their IVs are way too perfect (alternating between ideal 0's and 31's) for gens 3 and 4.

  8. Yes, this happens with most VC Pokémon now. The only exceptions I've found being:

    • Kanto starters.
    • Kanto fossils.
    • Kanto legendaries.
    • Nidoran family, save for both Nidoran themselves.
    • Cross-generational evolutions (save for gen 2 introduced cross-gen. For example, a G1 VC Leafeon is flagged as legal, but an Espeon from the same origin isn't, though Kingdra seems to be okay).
    • Pikachu, Raichu, Vulpix, Ninetales, Hitmonlee, Hitmonchan.

What they have in common is that, breeding aside, most of them aren't normally obtainable in GS, so my guess is that PKHeX properly takes them as being from Kanto, but any other Mon is flagged as being from Johto (even if they have the RBY game ID in their data), and therefore, illegal.
They need at least one G7-introduced ribbon in order for the legality issue to be triggered, though. Which means, the Effort, Footprint and Best Friend ribbons will not trigger it, but the Alola Champion, Battle Royal, and both Battle Tree Ribbons, will do.

I noticed this quite a while ago, but didn't feel the need to say it since I expected it to be corrected in some update, but since someone else is adressing it now, I thought I might as well say what I had found out.

  9. Well, while trying to scout trainers, I dump their Pokémon in order to see if they've brought good sets in their 1st and 2nd slots, so I've seen plenty of them. Though lately I've been overwriting a single file in order to keep my desktop clean, the first times I did it I made each dumped Mon an individual file. Since I keep my recycle bin with whatever I've sent there just in case I'm gonna need it someday, they were still in there. Here they are:

    It should be noted that:

    • These Pokémon have preset natures, IVs, EVsmovesets and items, but their genders, abilities and PIDs are generated at the moment you encounter them. In other words, if you find one of the sets I uploaded elsewhere and that data differs, they should still be valid Battle Tree sets.
    • Whereas some trainers share the exact same sets for some Pokémon, their Balls may differ due to their classes.
    • Some of these Mons will have "Sun." as their OT because they were dumped from recorded battles, but some others shouldn't have an OT at all due to being dumped directly from the actual battle. That's not an error.

Maybe I'm wrong (and I hope so) but if 10ANIV can be shiny and Celebi was distributed with, does that mean shiny Celebi exists in Gen 3?

Do we have tools to check that? Or better to prove that?

But, aren't 10ANIV Pokémon shiny locked?
I've read about some small probability of getting those Mons to be shiny, but still..sounds just like some sort of urban legend, and highly unlikely.

Hi, theSLAYER can i have a save file? Just after getting the town map.

    Name : Serena

    Skin : Middle Photo

Starter : Whatever u want xD

    Thanks :D.

You should take a save from here:

You can then modify it as you will via PKHeX, all the instructions regarding how to do it are in the post itself.

That huge whirlpool is a thing in SM already. Not normally visible but you can see it by walking through walls.
I'm not sure if I should assume it's something they scrapped... or an actual USUM hint.

After seeing the above post, so it still shows up as illegal when hatched in XY?

Yeah. If the egg was bred in ORAS and then traded to XY to be hatched in there, it should be legal even if PKHeX says otherwise. The program is not perfect, so it's most likely a checking error, either that or I might be missing something.

Huh, when I saw it, the first thing that came to my mind was Aether's uniform being redesigned.

Lillie's dialogue changed, no longer mentioned saving Lusamine. Despite similar scenes and similar progression, maybe the reason for going to Ultra Space changed?

Didn't know this, but I hope it means more to explore and do in Ultra Space, it's a place with so much wasted potential.
...Or maybe I just want an excuse to spend more time in there, Idk.

    46 minutes ago, theSLAYER said:

Lillie has her own Pokemon! (she carries a Pokeball in the poster)

Yes, I noticed that and really expect her to be battleable at some point.
-For that matter, back in SM, I didn't wanna take Nebby from her, they should just let her keep it and give us the post-game Cosmog, it wouldn't be the first time we'd have to beat the main story before getting the mascot legend (looking at you BW2) and it doesn't bother me-

    Potential Post-game New Battle facility
(Anime: Brock and Misty promises to visit Alola; Trailer: Vermilion Gym-lookalike showcased; SM game dump: room of the same style discovered, bears the Gym symbol, and internal name calls it "gym")

Anime: Ash promises [Insert any character/Pokémon's name in here] to come back. I wouldn't take an anime promise so seriously, but still, it'd be nice to have a new battle facility, as long as it keeps or improves Battle Tree's scouting system (I really like to be able to choose my multi battle AI partners that way).

    46 minutes ago, theSLAYER said:

Potentially new mythicals (expressed by conversation held in public by SciresM and Pokemon Op_sec guy)

Didn't know that either, but if it's actually the case, seems reasonable. Usually, mythicals dictate how many movies will the anime have, and therefore, how long will the generation will be overal. Having only two mythicals and one of them being used for a gen 6 movie, all we had left was Marshadow, who appeared on this year's movie. They need new marketing material.

    46 minutes ago, theSLAYER said:

UBs have their own unique Overworld Location (part of trailer, but too pixelated.
Zygarde has its own unique location, maybe Resolute Cave (Overworld sprites dumped from SM)

This might mean just one of each UB. Either that, or we'll have multiple ones running across the map, not as random encounters but still visible in the overworld. If they do that, I hope they don't run away as soon as the battle begins, I really hated the roaming Pokémon mechanic.
About Zygarde... well, both Terminus and Resolution caves have similar botton chambers, and their japanese names have similar meanings, and in other languages, such as spanish, french or italian, they actually do have the same name with the "Cave" world varying (I.E: In french, they're Grotte Coda and Caverne Coda respectively). This cannot be a coincidence, or so I hope, I wanna have my Zygarde (and many other legendaries) on a Beast Ball.

is it possible to get Mega Evolutions earlier on? I find it unlikely, but giving us Mega-family-lines to encounter and no megas, feels stupid.

Seems unlikely, but this is the thing I hope most. While I don't dislike Z-Moves, I still like Mega Evolutions way more, and I feelt they put way too much emphasis on potentially mega Pokémon in the last trailer (Larvitar, Mareep, Manectric, Houndoom) to just end up leaving them in there with no more purpose than expanding the Dex.

We have to take into account the fact that they're actually adding new Pokémon without moving on to a new generation. There are at least two confirmed ones, both of them being UBs. Just in case you haven't seen them and want to, here's the trailer:

  16. Well, most of your issues can be solved by simple in-game work. NPC trainers always have the "set" battle style by default and you can choose it for yourself among the options menu.
Banning some Pokémon, however, I dobut there is a way since every possible Pokémon must be usable on these battles. But you can simply choose not to use them, and it's not like a generic trainer is gonna throw a Mew at your face (unless you're playing a randomized game), that's not an issue at all.

And, as for items such as potions and full restores, they can be removed from NPCs via ROM hacking. And I do know it is possible to prevent the player from using them in battle as well, IIRC, by adding the same flag the Sacred Ash has. However, it's way easier to simply choose not to use them; the only real issue is the NPCs having items since that does require some actual technical work. It shouldn't be that hard but since I'm not into ROM hacking I couldn't help you with that.

even marketing stuff ignored that it was Necrozma and not Solgaleo/Lunala forms

That's exactly what I was gonna say.
As for the revives...well, I guess it's good for beginners, you know, they could come in handy if you keep getting your Mons killed due to not knowing some type matchups (and not paying attention to the effectiveness text under the moves' names). Though personally, I don't care either.

  18. Sooo...the bathroom in the video turned out to be a misunderstanding. According to the guy who did the hacking, while the map is close to the player's house models within the files, it's actually Hala's bathroom, so he thought it was part of the player's house.
Partly my bad since I didn't notice at the time, but well, I wasn't completely awake when I watched the video and there was no way for me to remember such an irrelevant place, so I took the "unused maps" thing as my main source to draw a conclusion.
