Well i was finally able to get it and after being able to redeem it several times, i can confirm that it's nature, EV and IV locked

alright imma try putting all 890 pokemon into HOME and then do the box shift

if by living dex, you mean every pokemon then yes, i have registered all 890 species registered in pokemon HOME

Frankly the only reason i use it is to get the  gift pokemon and maybe complete some of those challenges

is there any way to dump this or do i have to wait for the DLC and if its not there, then a possible future game that supports magearna ?

You can't do that because your sword file doesn't have data on every single pokemon in the national dex at the moment

ranked battles only allow pokemon that were born in the galar region

Yes, you can hack your 3DS and use PkHex

No, in order to hack in future pokemon ( I.E : sword & shield ), you'll need a hacked switch

Here is a pkhex file that is full of legit competitively trained pokemon 

You can get all the pkhex files for legit EVENT/GIFT pokemon from here and here

If you compile the latest pkhex from the github, you can open your save file but as expected the slowpoke is not showing any abilities due to fact the pokemon's data wasn't initially coded into the game

Unless you're impatient like me, your best bet is to wait for kurt to update pkhex to a more stable version
