I want Pokemod so bad.

I have downloaded Pokesav Platinum a lot to try and fix this. If I nickname anything SALAMENCE in all caps, the name shows up as nothing. I wanted a SALAMANCE but it does not have a name. How do I fix this? I also tested this by naming a BIDOOF SALAMENCE and it did not show the name. Please Respond!
