  1. The things Baka_Kyuubi listed are exactly what was bugging me, too. That code is utter nonsense.

    I'm working on deciphering how Platinum's Pokedex is stored in the save file. Once I figure that out it's a simple matter to make an AR code.

    Unless this code works:

    Press either Start or Select, I don't know which one.

    The code unlocks Sinnoh Dex, giving all languages as well. It kills the national dex, though.

    Good luck in deciphering Platinum's dex.

  2. I'm almost positive that you cannot chain cresselia or mesprit because they are one-time pokemon, and do not "naturally" appear in the grass. In fact, I don't know if you could even find them with the pokeradar.

    It would be nice to have a Blue Cresselia rather than a Purple Cresselia.

    Oh hey, reverse shiny Cresselia is Blue/Purple pallette =D

  3. I like the original Lugia though. Red Lugia looks a bit odd to me.

    Speaking of overused:

    I love Metagross. Second would be:

    [sprite]448[/sprite] Watch the power of Aura!

    [sprite]483[/sprite] Best type combo in the game, and a nice color scheme.

    [sprite]376[/sprite][shinysprite]376[/shinysprite]

    Scizor and Steelix are fun too, except that I have an intense hatred for Pokemon that require trading to evolve due to not being able to trade for years.

    You must be really glad there is Wireless Trading xDXDXD

  5. Blah. What if the first Pokemon is a cannon fodder and I can set up Agility and start sweeping? Whatever. We all know Battle Frontier is HAX so I'm bringing whatever Pokes I have to destroy stuff. I have a good bulky Dragonite though, so maybe... NAH. They'll all start Critical Hitting me 10 times in a row.

    Wait, Zmaster... Fire Fang to get rid of Fire types? It doesn't work that way!! :-/

    I meant Fire against Steel.

  6. Wait? Are you serious? They have a flinchhax Togekiss in there?

    Oh boy. Time to bring in my Dragonite (Inner Focus) :)

    Your Dragonite will be outspeeded by a enemy Garchomp, or a Weavile with Ice Shard. I'm sorry.

    ---------- Post added at 02:26 PM ---------- Previous post was at 02:25 PM ----------

    Or, an Abomasnow who survives your attack, sets hail, and Blizzard 's you to death.

    Or, what happened to me, and get raped by a Magneton. Sounds good.

    ---------- Post added at 02:28 PM ---------- Previous post was at 02:26 PM ----------

    OH, and for Battle Hall, you can enter same species, and it doesn't have to be the same Pokémon. For example, I can send in a Garchomp that knows Fire Fang to get rid of Fire-types, and send in another Garchomp that knows Stone Edge to get rid of Flying-types.

    How do I know this? One of the NPCs in the Battle Hall tell you it. It's the Idol Girl.

    Oh, and did I mention Outrage Tauros? It survived a STAB Outrage from Garchomp ;_;

    ---------- Post added at 02:32 PM ---------- Previous post was at 02:28 PM ----------

    Oh, and I have this paranoid fear that a non-Levitate Pokémon will have Levitate, and I will get locked. ;_;

    ---------- Post added at 02:51 PM ---------- Previous post was at 02:32 PM ----------

    Btw, small warning to people. Beware of Shedinja, if you are challenging Ghost or Bug types. You will hate it if he appears, and you don't have any Super Effective moves.

    EDIT: I am so f****** mad... My game froze at my 169th Streak....

  7. They'll probably just give you an egg and say, "We've never seen this type of egg before." or "Eggs are rarely found in Johto, we'd like you to give this to Prof. Elm for examination." Or... something.

    I don't think they'll pretend we don't know about eggs. :/

    I agree. I bet they'll question on what is in the egg, rather than what is the egg itself.

  8. 1. Water - love water types, mainly the starters, but want to see them more powerful

    2. Steel - so many resistances, so powerful, immune to poison and sandstorm

    3. Normal/Electric - 1 weakness only, yet to see a real powerful/less fragile one

    I don't like all water types, just usually the starters.

  9. i think that pokedex code gives you all 493 pokemon in it

    ---------- Post added at 01:20 PM ---------- Previous post was at 01:18 PM ----------

    ignore trainers 12067bfc 0000e008 its a small code

    ---------- Post added at 01:25 PM ---------- Previous post was at 01:20 PM ----------

    ignore trainers 12067bfc 0000e008

    L+R

    The code only gives 210, and the "switch dex" button disappears.

    Also, I want one that specifically only gives 493 along with the jap portion.

  10. So guys... give me some help here.

    What kind of Pokemon did you use for the Battle Hall (Stage in Japanese) ???

    I've made it through to the first Brain encounter, but I'm using my Jolteon (Thunderbolt, HP Ice, Shadowball) with an expert belt and I think that might have been a mistake just because it's so fragile and I've definitely been stalled to heck by Blissey before.

    What's your advice here?

    What did you use? Do you think I can make it all the way through with my Jolteon? Do you have a better suggestion?

    I recommend beastie types. Garchomp is good, but beware of the Outrage Tauros and the Flinching Togekiss.

  11. get all pokedex pokemon and itll be translatd into any thing like japanesse and french and all the pokemon are caught L+R+select

    Is it possible to make one just to unlock the entire dex and japanese, excluding all other languages? And also, that code only unlocks the entire Sinnoh Dex (210), can you make one that unlocks all 493, as well as their japanese portions?

  12. The battle tower and hall have to be the easiest of all the facilities. Palmer got owned by my Starmie. Garchomp actually got me the Gold print in the battle hall. The only facility that i haven't got the silver print to is the battle factory >.> I always get the crappy pokemon. Physical penguin sucks!

    I agree with Starmie for Palmer, but I disagree with Garchomp for Argenta. I got sweeped by a Magneton with my Garchomp... It was haxed. It survived my earthquake, and sonic boomed me to death.

    ---------- Post added at 09:11 PM ---------- Previous post was at 09:10 PM ----------

    Can you use the same Pokémon with different movesets, and still keep the same streak?

    I might make a change of moveset to make it more advantageous for me ;P

    The only reason that Garchomp is fail for me, is because it got owned by also a Tauros with Outrage....

  13. Congrats Zmaster!

    I have yet to beat the Battle Frontier though. I'm sick of all the hacked Pokes. I think my streak on the tower was 20ish and got swept by a Quick Claw Guillotining Crawdaunt which NEVER failed to activate/hit!

    IT IS HAXED. I GOT SWEEPED BY A MUK BEFORE THAT ;_;

    Edit: Oh, but the roulette is quite advantageous.

  14. Oh, I just beat Dahlia 49th streak. She wasn't that hard. Battle Arcade is easy if you get what you need in the roulette, and in my case, Paralyze xP

    Oh, and she definitely has a Zapdos, Togekiss, and Blaziken. The site that said she has a random Pokémon, it's completely false. I trust serebii over many other sites.

  15. 21st Streak Dahlia wasn't that hard, as we just knocked each other's Pokémon out until I won =D

    Darach wasn't that hard, I was able to sweep him.

    Palmer was incredibly hard. His Rhyperior is the Greatest Wall, his Milotic is the Greatest Staller, and his Dragonite is the Greatest Sweeper.

    He would usually stall with Milotic, paralyzing m Pokémon, and then sweep with his Dragon Danced Dragonite ;_;

  16. Yeah, I think I'll move this thread. Thanks for your input.

    On a side note, I never reached anywhere in the Battle Frontier. Those Pokes are hacked!!

    That is quite true. Palmer's Milotic is so bulky, it isn't even funny. Took me 3 thunderbolts to kill it, and it uses Thunder Wave, so that is even more of a drag. His Rhyperior will survive any attack, as I've seen so far.
