  2. Greetings, Maxima! I'm going to tell you now that having only a 3DS will be insufficient for most Project Pokémon activities. At the very least, you're going to need an original DS or DS Lite, and an Action Replay.
  3. I'll do just that! I'm on vacation until Wednesday, but once I get home I'll begin mapping immediately. However, before I begin, I believe we should consider changing the base ROM for this mod from Emerald to FireRed/LeafGreen, for two reasons: 1) FireRed and LeafGreen were released after Emerald, and are technologically and graphically superior. Using FR/LG would make a much prettier and more advanced mod. 2) The Orange Islands are off the shore of Kanto, so using a game taking place in Kanto makes much more geographical sense.
  4. I must confess that up until about a year ago, I was very guilty of the "STAB spamming" you've covered here. This guide really helped me weed out the remaining problems I had with my team, thank you for writing it.
  5. I have experience mapping both FireRed and Ruby, and I have sprite art experience with making Minecraft skins.
  6. I think it would be cool to have a legality checker on cell phones, however, there should be some other features as well. A Pokégen-type editor for .PKM files would be very cool, and the "portable GTS" would be nice too. I also very much like the idea of turning .PKM files into QR codes. If that could happen, along with a Pokégen-type editor for them, this could become something revolutionary for the Pokémon community. Mobile .PKM editing would be an amazing leap forward for all of us. I don't have an Android device, though, so an iOS port would be nice.
  7. Despite the fact that I haven't been able to play it much, I really like it. I think it's pretty cool to have direct sequels this time, instead of a mix-up of the first two games. It's nice to see what's become of the characters from the first games, and to see how the Unova region has changed. I like the new towns, especially the new starter town, Aspertia. After so many years of starting off in these little villages with seven inhabitants, it's refreshing to see an actual city as your home. Also, I'm very glad some of the older Pokémon were added in this time. The Gen V Pokémon were so ugly, and they used to be the only ones I could look at. My one complaint involves the one thing I have to look at through the entire game: the player's avatar. The avatars this time around both look horrible.
  8. I started playing a Pokémon Yellow ROM a few weeks ago. I was actually surprised at how much fun I found it, even after all these years.
  9. That's a quote from Elder Li in Pokémon HeartGold and SoulSilver. Oh, what cruel irony.
  10. Welcome to Project Pokémon, Jarinakis. If you really want to be the very best, there's no where better to be than here.
  11. I could make you said code, but first I'll need you to make a .PKM file of your Samurott using Pokécheck. http://www.pokecheck.org/ Once you have the file on Pokécheck, make it public and send me your Trainer ID. (Not your friend code, your Trainer ID!)
  12. First off, the chances of the new Action Replay living up to it's claims about the 3DS are probably slim. Nintendo is continually forcing 3DS updates down our throats, and a lot of them are designed to block hacks. Chances are, Datel is already behind Nintendo and it's probably going to stay that way. Action Replay codes are much easier to make then you think. You'll need a program called Pokégen, which can be found on this forum. With this program you can create Pokémon or load Pokémon files, including event Pokémon (like your Shaymin). Once you have your Pokémon in the program, you can have them made into codes to replace party members or Pokémon in your PC boxes. You can find plenty of in-depth tutorials on this forum, other Pokémon forums, or YouTube. Have fun!
  13. Welcome, Aaron! I'm going to go ahead and tell you now that if you want to participate in any kind of hacking, you're going to need an original Nintendo DS. The 3DS blocks most kinds of outside hardware, such as Action Replays, which you would probably need to get your Shaymin.
  14. I hate the entire evolution line of the ice-cream cone Pokemon.
  15. My name is James, and I've just joined these forums. Even though I'm just joining, I've been following Project Pokémon for a while now. I first used Pokésav when I was about ten years old, just a few months after getting Pokémon Diamond to go with my new Nintendo DS. I've been toying with Pokémon saves for over five years now. Anyway... hello!
