  1. Drop the generating code option altogether. It's not necessary since you're editing your save directly. Just File -> Load and select your .sav file. Then, simply take the Aggron.pkm file, and drag it into one of your Pokemon Boxes (or into your party, but dragging it into your box is recommended, as PokeGen has issues with the party Pokemon Stats) After that, File -> Save [save file] And there you have it. In the future, if you're creating a Poke from scratch, or just editing an existing one, to save your changes, right click the Poke's icon, and press "Set". If you don't do this, and just go straight to Saving the file, your changes won't appear.
  2. The only reason Sky Drop is getting the "lolno" sign from Nintendo is because there's "a glitch...that occurs in double and triple battles when Gravity is used while two Pokémon are in the semi-invulnerable state when Sky Drop is used." It was banned from Random Wi-Fi back in November 10, 2010. This glitch makes the Sky Drop poke pretty much dead weight since it can't be switched out or move until it'd knocked out by something. It just makes the game close to unplayable. Source: http://bulbapedia.bulbagarden.net/wiki/Sky_Drop
  3. Ah, so let's say I had a Timburr with the PID: 1063927178. Converting that to Hex, it'd be: 3F6A3D8A. According to kaphotics, AAAXAAYY, and the YYs represent those gender ratio number thingies. 8A. Converting 8A back to decimal, I get 138. So it'd be male, correct? P.S. When you said 0-266, did you mean 0-255? P.S.S. I don't really recall where I got my avatar from...sorry. I'll let you know if I remember though.
  4. 0-255? Gender ratio? ...If you don't mind, could you explain this to me? ._.;;
  5. Woah, it sets Gender too? Not trying to hijack the topic, but is there a way to change the PID to match the Gender too? Like how for Ability, it's from PID (Dec) -> PID (Hex) -> 4th Number -> Bin -> Last No. (0 = Ability 1, 1 = Ability 2)?
  6. Well...Sawsbuck is in a Cherish Ball. Ninetails has Drought, which is a DW Ability, and therefore cannot be used until the GL is up (March 30th...I think); change its Abliity to Flash Fire and its PID to 307415749. Oh, and it's in a Cherish Ball. Change Sawsbuck's PID from 927402378 to 927336842. Venasaur, Sawsbuck, Joleton, Kingdra(s), Tangrowth, etc. all lack a fourth number for SID in the OT/Misc tab. Venasaur lacks a game name under the Met tab in Hatch Conditions, so do Joleton, Tangrowth, etc. Haxorus is still says "Tall Grass/Darkrai". Tyranitar is in a Cherish Ball, and it says Tall Grass/Darkrai. It's PID is also completely missing 2 numbers. Aerodactyl should be changed to Egg/Shaymin/Tree/w/e. Skarmory's SID lacks a number, and so does everyone else in Box 3 and 4. Skarmory (box 4) lacks a Hatch location. Blissey in Box 4 is in a Cherish Ball. Eelektross says Cave/Hall of Origin. Audino is in a Cherish Ball. Larvitar lacks a Hatch Location. Chansey is in a Cherish Ball. Mudkip has no Hatch Location. Not sure if there's more.
  7. I checked it, and it should be fine. The only issues that I can see are that the "ID" in the "OT/Misc" tab is empty, and that in the "Met" tab, it says that you got it at level two, while on the "Main" tab, it says it's at level one. You should set the one in the "Met" tab to Level 5, and the one in the "Main" tab Level 5 or more.
  8. OT/Misc tab. Extra Bytes. 66 (0x42). Next box, put 01.
  9. Thanks Kaphotics. I finally get it.
  10. Not to be rude, I don't remember mentioning the Shifter at all, nor do I remember asking for a way to get through Nintendo's Wi-Fi checker. The issue I have with the PID Finder in PokeGen is that it doesn't use Gen V's method. Since the PIDs are only linked to Abilities this Gen, I need to know what I can do and how I can do it. If I had to give, say, Mienshao Reckless, I need to know whether or not the 0x42 = 01 Value completely disregards what I selected (Ability 1 or 2 and the PID), and if it simply gives me the DW Ability without any legality issues. You answered my Day-Care questions, though. I thank you for that.
  11. ...I know this may sound weird, but use the first location. I see it as a bunch of squares, but it probably shows up as something else on your side. Edit: Also, change the Encounter to Tall Grass/Darkrai. Try the square thing first, then Tall Grass, then both. If that doesn't work, you might just wanna wait for someone who knows more about this kind of thing to come along. <_<;;
  12. Uh...I don't really know. Did you edit these at all after transferring? Have you had any trouble with them before now? If you just made these guys within PokeGen and didn't actually transfer them from IV to V, try changing the location to "Poke Transfer Lab."
  13. Well...from what I can see just by skimming through them (I haven't checked anything else), I can see a minor issue: Tall grass/Darkrai. IIRC, Gen V Pokes are all set to "Egg/Pal Park/Event/Honey tree/ Shaymin. I'm not sure if that's the direct source of the problem, but I'm pretty sure it's not supposed to be set to that... Edit: Oh, I'd just like to point out that some of the Pokes are set to have 255 EVs in each stat (IE: Audino), so that could be it. >.>
  14. Sorry if these were asked before, but I've looked around, and I've found a few contradicting answers. (IE: PID is is only linked to the nature, then someone says it's linked to the ability, and then I get confused) Running PokeGen 3.0b17, in case it matters. --- I've looked around, and in Gen V, the PID is only linked to the Ability for a normal (so not hatched, but caught in the wild) Pokemon, right? I realize that the Gen V PID finding method isn't incorporated into PokeGen yet, so could someone please confirm that this method is usable/correct? 1) Select Pokemon (In this case, Herdier) 2) Generate a Gen IV PID (For Herdier, I got: 1045125028. When generating the IV PID, the ability was already set to Intimidate) Converting the PID I got to Hex, I'd get: 3E4B57A4 Now, taking the first four numbers/letters, I get 3E4B. The last number is B. After converting the B to decimal, I get 11, so it's odd. ...I actually don't know what to do from here. I read somewhere that an odd number is ability one, so based on that and that Intimidate is already Herdier's ability one, does this mean that the PID is accurate? --- Are Gen V's Eggs' PIDs also only linked only to Ability? If so, could I just use the same method as I did above to determine is PID, then edit everything else freely? --- For creating an already hatched Pokemon, in the "Met" tab, what level should it be set to? Also, just to confirm, the "Location" should be "Day-Care Couple", right? Is there anything else I need to do when created a hatched Poke? (Checking "As Egg", setting hatch conditions, etc. I'm pretty sure I have to, but I kinda want to confirm it.) And one last thing: When making Pokes with Dream World Abilities, does the PID still matter? I mean, if the PID matches for Ability one, then I go to the Misc tab to set 0x42 = 01 for the Dream World Ability, would it still be legitimate? Is it the same for Pokemon bred with Dream World Abilities?
