lol why would you need xp and if you do why not download vm ware you are running vista so you can run up to 3 os on vm ware and not even that if you are in the know and have connections you can even get windows 7 and just run xp off windows 7 -.0
anyway i just want to know what the hell is a rock capsule used for i think its to restore fossils on your own but i could be wrong it could be to get the other titan in the secret tower not much you can speculate for the use of that item
First off, periods are your friends. They help to tell other people when a sentence ends.
Second, I can't run XP off of Vista. Vista programming doesn't have the same function as XP did where you could convert back to Windows 98. Not only that, but it also disallows the installtion of a lower grade OS. I need the Windows XP disc so I can get off this god-forsaken OS and back onto something that doesn't suck. Vista is a festering heap of crap and we all know it.
At any ratem, the exact function of the R/Lock Capsule isn't known yet. The reason we say R/Lock is because it could be translated as Rock Capsule or Lock Capsule. We don't know which yet, though it is looking to be the latter. Once I manage to make a functioning PGT, we may be able to discopver what it does exactly.
As for your theories as to what the R/Lock Sapsule does, why would we need to restore fossils on our own when you have someone that can do that for you? Additionally, ho would a locked up Capsule awaken the other titan? At any rate, it's purpose has yet to be discovered, so we're just gonna sit here and twiddle our thumbs until I can get something working here.
-
Thanks for you effort. BTW, you need have a rest, do not stay up, mate.
I already rested. I'm hopping back on this thing. I'm hoping for atleast a minor breakthrough by the end of the day, ya know?
-
Right now I'm working on making a PGT that will give you the items as if you received them directly from the event. Current I'm not having too much luck, but I'm pressing on regardless. I'm hoping maybe I'll be able to have something for you guys within the next few days, if not hours since I don't actually plan on sleeping until I get a functioning blank disc that I can use to copy Windows XP Pro onto. (Screw you, Windows Pista. ) At any rate, the items are all but useless until someone or myself can get a functioning code. Sorry, mate.

Is there an IV Check code for these games yet? I found on somewhere, but it didn't work.
Yes. There is:
IV/EV Check:
Hold while swapping between info screen and stats screen:

Please, I don't wanna know what goes on at those things
Are there any Cloning codes out? Probably. But I always miss out on the good stuff. If there is one could you possibly post it?
There is one, but it's not like your traditional "Make something out of nothing" cloning code. It's basically just making the junk pokemon of your choice into the pokemon you want to be cloned. That and you can only clone within the confines of your party. anyways, here it is. Hold R while swapping party pokemon to have it clone your pokemon. The pokemon that you select to be swapped will be the cloned pokemon:
Cloning Code:
Hold R while swapping party pokemon spaces within your party.

You just had to say it...."that" convention....
Thank you for your help, as always, I appreciate it.
I know. "THAT" convention. They're actually quite fun, contrary to popular belief. Lotsa drunk people. It's like Benny Hill in real time.

I'm confused what exactly does the different color egg do??? because i does the same thing as the fast egg code, or am i missing something??By different colored egg, they mean an Egg that hatches into a shiny pokemon. The shiny eggs and the normal eggs are two different colors, ya dig?

can i get a code for one of every arceus plate? The only thing I have is an all items code. Might I suggest just pokesaving a code for all the p[lates and then modifying the code manually? Make the code in Pokesav Platinum for me and PM me. I'll mod it for ya, k?

that doesnt help cause i dont see the code here just the "cianwood fix" which still has surf so there for doesnt help my problem
Just so everyone is aware, regarding the whole HM problem thing for alot of you users, I'm only going to say this once, so please listen carefully.
Many of you guys are using the current All TMs/HMs code which is listed below in the spoiler.
All TMs/HMs [select]
94000130 FFFB0000
62110DC0 00000000
B2110DC0 00000000
D5000000 00630148
C0000000 00000063
D6000000 000009B0
D4000000 00000001
D2000000 00000000
However, because this code gives you the HMs at such an early point in the game, the game often glitches, and for you Flashcart users, it also freezes or crashes the game. There are two known methods to solving this problem. I'll be explaining both.
Method 1) This method is primarily targeted towards those who are just now starting a new game. The following code that is listed below in the spoiler will give you all the TMs, but not the HMs. By doing this, you can still have all the TMs readily avaliable and you can then just obtain the HMs through normal means.
All TMs [select]
94000130 FFFB0000
62110DC0 00000000
B2110DC0 00000000
D5000000 00630148
C0000000 0000005B
D6000000 000009B0
D4000000 00000001
D2000000 00000000
Method 2) This method is targeted towards those who need the game fixes or who are too impatient to wait and get the HMs as you progress through the game. Listed below is a code that will REMOVE all TMs and HMs from your bag completely. By doing so, you can then obtain the HMs from the designated people so your game will not glitch. This code can be used in conjunction with the first code above (The all TMs/HMs Code) so you can progress through the storyline with ease while still having all of your beloved TMs and HMs. Here is the code to use:

i have a m3ds real chip =P
so i play it on my DS not an emulator
i played normal to the 14 badges cO
Hmmm.... And you can't just enter the code onto the Flashcart? That's.... Odd. o_o Dunno what to tell ya then.

Yeah, I contacted the Steven and traded him for the Beldum, and I have captured LATIOS. But for now I can't find Steven anywhere. Hope you could solve the problem, I really want to have Latias.
And you've double checked Pewter City Musem and Sliph Co. to make sure he's not there again? If so, I'll look into working on the PGT for both items so we can figure all this crap out. I'll have it ready for you guys in a few hours, hopefully. I'll also need about 3 testers who have alot of spare time today to aid me in working on this matter. Anyone who can give me a hand, please do so. Thanks a bunch, guys.

Pokesav doesn't support whatever data is used to determine Pichu's alternate form.
It's impossible at the moment.
Also, it's not called notched, so I'll edit your post, too.
It's not impossible, perse, but just rather difficult. You can use a hex editor after creating the desired stats and whatnot on your Pichu and then just edit the sprite hex to that of the Jagged Eared Pichu. (Or Spikey-Eared or whatever the hell we're calling it now.)

i have 14 badgets and i put the code in a .xml file but it freeze before i can press anything *lol*
Please ignore the all Badges code for now. The updated version will be in the spoiler below, so go ahead and try using that. Also, don't put XML files on your game. Just extract and copy the code by opening the XML first. It makes life a hell of a lot easier.

To get another groudon/kyogre, simply edit your save file's name to that of another version. And open that version rom to open the save file. When you get into the cave again and aviod the Mt. man, you will see another legend. Then go to the Oak's place with groudon and Kyogre, you will get the GREEN ORB.
To get the Beldum from Steven ( or Daigo), you shall go to the Silph Bldg to meet him.
WHAT I CARE MOST IS HOW TO ACTIVATE THE LATIAS/ LATIOS PLOT ( Again, the Crystal is just a item, the key to activate this plot is to find the person who will give you the crystal, I think )
Did you attempt to contact Steven already at Sliph Co.? Did you also catch the other corresponding Lati in order to maybe activate this event? I;m fairly certain that there's no real big secret to this thing and that we're merely overlooking alot of stuff here. At any rate, I'm gonna go and make the PGT to have the Enigma Crystal and the R/Lock Capsule given to you by the market man. I'll post it in a new thread once I am done with it.

Kyo, or anyone else who can help.It might be too early but is there a WTW code yet?
A WTWhat? Elaborate. I've been up for 4 days straight working staff at a furry convention and everything is reaaaaaaally fuzzy.
EDIT: OOOOH! Walk Through Walls! And nope. On GBA temp, that was one of the first codes avaliable. I'm pretty sure there's a link to their codelist in this thread, so go there and use it. It works like a charm, really, and you can even walk through people.

Oh well, ya beat me to it! I was looking into these values aswell and had them done lol
Great code. Works like a charm. Only problem is that it gets rid of all the other key items
As they say, "You snooze, you lose. :D" But ya. I am soooo happy I beat everyone to the punch on this. X3 My self esteem just got a little bit higher.
---------- Post added at 08:20 PM ---------- Previous post was at 08:19 PM ----------
solution is simpel but lots of work...first write down or type
wat is in the key items pocket
then change the numbers of the code to that and then add what you want under need it
so you get this:
94000130 fff70000
62110dc0 00000000
b2110dc0 00000000
e00008e8 000000c8
xxxxxxxx yyyyyyyyy
zzzzzzzzz 00000000
.....
D2000000 00000000
xxxxxxxx = first slot
yyyyyyyyy = second slot
zzzzzzzzz = third slot
and so on till bottom of code
hope this helps out some people
(be warned im not sure this is true but there is a big change)
This is correct, yes. My mistake on not clarifying on this matter. In the future I'll make sure to take care of things such as this before hand.

That gives you everything available in HGSS, at least I think so, I may have skipped a few things, but its most of them anyway.
Warning though, the Orbs don't work just by having them. I already battled Kyogre via the Blue Orb I got from Mr. Pokemon, but now returning to the tower, there is no Groudon or Rayquaza with their respective orbs in my bag, not that I expected Groudon to appear anyway.
I'm working on seeing if the Mysterious Crystal event works, as well as find out what the R/Lock capsule does, if anything. They may not work since the event flags likely weren't triggered though.
EDIT:
A.) Mysterious Crystal event isn't working for me... then again, Steven won't leave the Pewter Museum to trade me his Beldum either. -.-
B.) I don't know what to do with the Locked Rock Capsule, but I tried Kurt since he opens up Apricorns, and nothing.
Seems they won't work until we can get the codes to have them obtained via Mystery Gift like the event items in DPPt.
I'll be further testing this matter, myself. I'll keep you updated on this though. Thanks again for testing this, Dante.
-
Does the alternate orb to the game it was meant for actually summon the other legend? ie. Does the Red Orb summon Groudon in HeartGold?
I'm testing that at the moment, and so far I've only encountered Groudon. I am, however, skipping through a good chunk of the storyline, so I'm not entirely sure. I'm going to mess around with it when I get my real game and see what happens. The Green Orb also didn't activate after I went back in with it, so I'm fairly certain you need to trigger all the prerequisites. You're more than welcome to test it yourself, and my hope is that the alternate orb WILL summon the corresponding pokemon, but I'm not 100% certain.
-
Thanks. If anyone can find the Arceus one, to reactivate the event, let me know.
Anything regarding re-facing certain pokemon or re-doing events won't be created until either COM gets around to it or until PPSE is done.

After messing around for a little while, I've finally gotten the Code values for ALL the key items in HG/SS. I'll be posting the code you've all been wanting along with the Value Set.
Key Item Values:
In the code, you'll notice many lines of 00000000. By replacing the last five numbers with any of the fallowing values and activate the code, you'll get the listed Key Item. Some of these Key Items are left over data from Platinum and therefore don't do anything, but all of the HG/SS intended Key Items function to perfection.

To those who may be confused, allow me to elaborate:
Take the code fragment here:
94000130 fff70000
62110dc0 00000000
b2110dc0 00000000
e00008e8 000000c8
00010215 00010218
00010216 00010217
00010214 000101f6
00000000 00000000
....
Now then. Let's say that I would like to have the Battle Recorder as a key item early on. I would first start by editing the blue section. Then I would change the blue section to the listed value posted above for the Battle Recorder (In this case, 101D1.)
94000130 fff70000
62110dc0 00000000
b2110dc0 00000000
e00008e8 000000c8
00010215 00010218
00010216 00010217
00010214 000101f6
00000000 00000000
So the code fragment should look like this when you're done:
94000130 fff70000
62110dc0 00000000
b2110dc0 00000000
e00008e8 000000c8
00010215 00010218
00010216 00010217
00010214 000101f6
000101D1 00000000
The red section is the edited portion. If you want a certain number of key items, simply do this process throughout the entire code. Please note that shortening or lengthening the code posted above in any way will freeze your game.Enjoy!
To anyone concerned as to why all other key items are being deleted, refer here:
solution is simpel but lots of work...first write down or type
wat is in the key items pocket
then change the numbers of the code to that and then add what you want under need it
so you get this:
94000130 fff70000
62110dc0 00000000
b2110dc0 00000000
e00008e8 000000c8
xxxxxxxx yyyyyyyyy
zzzzzzzzz 00000000
.....
D2000000 00000000
xxxxxxxx = first slot
yyyyyyyyy = second slot
zzzzzzzzz = third slot
and so on till bottom of code (Or until you have all the desired Key Items)
hope this helps out some people

Are the rotom/shaymin/giratina formes usable on wifi? If would you be able to make a code for them? :V Thanks.
Currently there isn't a code to do that yet. As for them being usable on Wi-Fi, I'd like to know this as well.

I don't really understand how the code works? I press select but I don't see the pokémons iv's? Do they show up in the sumary screen or tm bag or what? :bidoof:
The code works like this: Hold the desired button (Either Select or Start) While going into the pokemon's info page. Keep holding it and scroll to the stats page and it'll display the IVs or EVs depending on which button you're holding. Additionally, if you have more than one pokemon in your party, by still holding the button and scrolling between pokemon using the D-Pad, you can check IVs and EVs very quickly by alternating while switching. (Example: You open up and check your Pichu's IVs, scroll down while holding select to check your Crocknaw's IVs, then hold start as you scroll back up to check your Pichu's EVs and so on.)

HG/SS Character Modifier Values COMPLETED
in RAM - NDS Cheats
Posted · Edited by KyoMcFizzle
These values also may be used to modify your Multiplayer Avatar for the Union Room and Wi-Fi. The sprite change will only occur between two Copies of either Heart Gold or Soul Silver. Details on this can be found in the Third Spoiler.
Progress:
-10/12/09: Started Listing Values
-10/12/09: Halfway Finished with Values 000~0FF
-10/12/09: Finished Values 100~1FF
-10/13/09: Halfway Done With Values 200~244
-10/13/09: Finished Values 000~0FF and finished Value Set for this Game.
As I did with Pokemon Platinum, I've taken the liberty of deriving a list of values to be used to modify your character sprite to that of another sprite in the game. The following code was created by the hackers on GBAtemp, whom I thank alot for their hard work. The code will work like this:
Due to the lack of a calculator in the game, the alteration of the code is neccessary to change you character. Also note using multiple character altering codes at the same time has a high potential of crashing your game, so please refrain from attempting it.
Here is the code:
62110DC0 00000000
B2110DC0 00000000
10025D90 00000XXX
D2000000 00000000
First start by finding the desired value that you want. All you have to do is replace the Red X's with any of the following values and presto. You have yourself the desired sprite.
It should be known, however, that although the walking animations for each sprites work perfectly fine, the only sprites capable of having a working running animations are the Hero Sprites for Diamond, Pearl, Platinum, Heart Gold, and Soul Silver.
