    When I try look for Patrat to register my Black 2 I just get disconnected ... should I just try again later or does it not work in Black 2 and White 2 for some reason right now.

    I don't mind paying something... but it does depend on how much it'll be. I also guess it'll be a log in when you start it so you know someone paid? Or would it be something else, as I'd like to still be able to use it offline if needed.

    Got Keldeo from GAME today, it seems to be the same as the US one though, should I bother contributing the card?

    Looking at this now.. it says "Unlock key system" but also has "Doesn't reflect on game save" What's that about... anyway trying the code and challenge mode is still locked.. Edit: Okay I'm stupid. I had cheats set to disabled on that one... I think I get what it means by not reflected on game save, cause if you turn off the cheat it goes back to being locked.. yet still activated.

    Could the issue be the trainer name? Because the Japanese game would use a different font set to the one it'll be using when you type in the name in Pokégen.

    It will also be nice to have challenge mode from the start without having to get it from someone else... or play though Black 2 once and have to restart.

    First I suggest making sure you're on 3.0.3, as that is meant to have fixes for this..

    Oops! Really sorry about that.. my bad. I can see I wasn't clear at all. Yeah it seems really awkward... I mean there's a redistribute option there in MGE but it doesn't seem to change anything, some hex changes but nothing is different in game. There is a "Get Via Infrared" option in Mystery gift, which I assumed would be for getting them from friends... But perhaps not... I guess they possibly really decided not to include the option this time seeing as it was only ever used for one event in gen 4 and even then only for the Japanese one... But it does tell you to point the console at the other persons game cart, which still makes me think friends.. why would they ever do an official event thing via IR.. unless it was some sort of prize? and they have to stop everyone being able to get it at the same time... I dunno..

    Okaay.. um. Hopefully not going to come off as a total noob here. (Honestly if I am still getting it wrong it's probably time to just give up, but it's fun to try to learn.. lol..)     I know of using an edited distribution rom, which is cool.. but I worry if I was to try that at a real event it would interrupt the proper event. But if there's anything else I'll look into that.. Edit: Putting 348 didn't make share appear.. I probably did it wrong knowing me though.

    Anyone know how to make cards shareable? I've tried putting a number into the "Redistribution" box but it doesn't seem to change anything. Be awesome if this was updated again some day...

    So normally on dropbox files you get a little tick on the bottom left hand corner to say the file is on the server as well as the PC.. but earlier I saw.. lol.. so the little tick has become the Pokégen icon.. to be honest, I don't think it's Pokégens fault and probably just something my PC did (As I left another folder open.. the icon was still highlighted? I don't know) ... it was just kind of weird and a little amusing... It hasn't happened before with other icons though. I just thought maybe it's worth a mention... although it's not really a big deal and moving away from the folder fixed it. I'll just have to see if it happens again.

    One reason I'd edit them in gen 4 was to make them shareable... So you could go to events and things and use share on things people may have missed... or sometimes it was just to get some things that were possibly never really released.. (Like the flute) even if it's not really legit and AR codes could do the same thing, I just liked getting it through a card better... felt like there was less of a chance of an AR code going wrong and messing something else up that it's not meant to.. (Even if there's no way it could do that, I just liked it..)

I am guessing it's just a case of the checker hasn't been updated for it yet (Seeing as it was only yesterday), if you need the card file or something I can try get that too.

    Try uploading a Pokémon (That has you as the OT obviously) to Pokécheck, then you'll be able to see when you view the Pokémons details.
