  1. If they did come from GBATemp then I doubt they'd like it getting reposted there.

    ...

I was thinking of more like a fairly reliable/complete/organized depository for DS codes, like the one used by the Wii's homebrew applications. (I can't rememer what it's called... "WiiRD", or something like that?)

That depends; Are codes from GBATemp posted here without credit? It would be a shame if they were, but I haven't came across that. The codes for the Pokémon Games are neatly organized in the Usrcheat database. Unless the codes are labeled as "DON'T POST THESE CODES OUTSIDE OF THIS FORUM" or any variation of that then you should respect those wishes, but if they aren't, I see no problem in re-posting the codes with the right credit to the original creators of the codes. If there are multiple code hackers in that list of codes that were distributed, simply add all of their names at the top of the post.

  2. Because I don't know how! I created this code using PokéGen and I don't actually have any knowledge of how AR codes work. I only know how to make the original PKM file and PokéGen does the rest of the work for me.

Ah, I see...I thought you made that code yourself since you said "I decided to go ahead and make the code anyway." Disregard that reply then. :)

  3. If you like, I can make you one. I have a couple of event Darkrai I could make a code for, and I could make you a custom Zorua and create an AR code for that. Would you like your Zorua to be flawless, with egg moves, etc? Bear in mind it would be a hacked one but it would be breedable in case you didn't want to use that one specifically.

Edit: Never mind, I decided to go ahead and make the code anyway. The Darkrai is the Almia Darkrai, and I gave it an Enigma Berry for the lulz. The Zorua is near flawless, has 252 EVs in Speed and 252 in Sp. Atk (and 4 in HP but whatever), has Dark Pulse, Extrasensory, Hidden Power (Fighting) and Snarl, and is holding King's Rock (works well with Dark Pulse and Extrasensory). Oh, and it's shiny.

Sorry if I went overboard with the Zorua! Activate the code by pressing Select, and the Pokémon will replace slots 5 and 6 in your party.

  4. Alright so, I'm testing out a few things with this game and I'm wondering does anyone by chance have the PC Box 1, Slot 1 and PC Box 2, Slot 1 Address handy for this game. I could quickly hack it myself, but I really don't feel like going through all the trouble. Any help is appreciated.

  5. I am not very skilled in this, any idea how to convert the US code to EU?

Are you a code hacker? If so, maybe there's an offset used when porting US ASM Codes -> EU ASM Codes. In most cases, the offset used to port normal RAM codes varies from ASM codes and in that case, you'd have to either 1. Re-hack the code yourself, or 2. Look somewhere close to those addresses in the debugger and find similar instructions then change them accordingly.

Edit: I read that wrong. I thought you were trying to port ASM Codes, but you're just trying to port a RAM Code.

    looks like it's (US + 0x40 = EU)

    So try these

    Hero- 122B5198 00000XXX

    Partner- 122B5200 00000XXX

    Wrong offset... US + 0x940 = EU.

Here is the Version number on the cartridge

    NTR-C2SP-EUR

    And this is US version

    Modifier:

    Hero- 122B5158 00000XXX

    Partner- 122B51C0 00000XXX

*Replace the X’s with the desired pokemon code listed below

    Articuno (-)

    2E8

    Hope someone can help

Test these (Credit to whomever made the US ones, these are just ported and I HAVEN'T tested them. Use at your own risk.)

    122B5A98 00000XXX @Hero
    122B5B00 00000XXX @Partner

  6. I am also having trouble with the member card code for Diamond. Except my problem is that the guy at the mart always seems to give me Oak's Letter, even when I alter the numbers that are supposed to give me the card. The code is as follows:

    94000130 FCFF0000

    B21C4D28 00000000

    B0000004 00000000

    0000AA3C EDB88320

    2000AA80 00000008

    D2000000 00000000

The last number on line 00000008 varies. I've experimented with using 7, 9, and A instead of the 8, and all I keep getting is Oak's Letter!

That's because the second offset isn't 0xAA80...it's supposed to be 0xAA68. Test this (Code made by Unknown unless stated otherwise).

  7. It works! Thank you SO Much!! ^-^

No problem. I'm surprised it works.

My sister wants one now, but with a douse drive. Could you make one with a douse drive please?

To be honest, I haven't really played Pokémon Black and White since I was disappointed at the offspring (those 5th Generation Pokémon) produced by Pokémon and Digimon. With that being said, I really don't know what a "Douse Drive" is, but I assume it's a special item Genesect is able to hold to make it stronger. I might decide to play the 5th Generation and train my little Snivy just to give it a chance, but I can't really help out on making that code since I am inexperienced with this game.

  8. That code isn't too long for the AR to handle. Compare 36 lines to like 200 or 300 lines. In most cases the AR tends to make other codes not work properly if you have several other lengthy codes enabled as well. Not sure if you tried this yet, but try making sure this is the only code you have enabled.

Edit: I shortened them by 16 lines. I HAVEN'T tested these so use at your own risk and keep a backup of your current gamesave, but they should work.

  11. yea i tried that...and its sunny but marowak is still grumpy and it will still say he is "sheltering himself from the rain" like there is rain....so im needing to not only modify the superficial graphic of rain but the layer under neither that make pokemon react to weather....make sense?

Yeah, I know what you mean. There is so much a single code can do alone and in this case, this was only able to change the weather and not the mood of the Pokémon. You will have to find out where the game stores the mood of the Pokémon and make it so that it's "Always Happy/Content".

  12. ooo i got somewhere!!! if you change it to 02000500 30002100 you go into route 33 it says mystery zone and marowak is happy...but its glitchy and my game locked up....but its a step closer?
Well, the purpose of the code isn't to change those last 2 bytes on that line (0x3066), but rather the first byte in the 0x21[01]. The code is intended to modify the weather, so changing anything else besides that will cause different things to happen. What code are you looking for exactly?
