  1. The one I made for Black 2/White 2 seems like it randomizes a little better than this version. I never felt the need to add 0x29 each time... Adding 0x1 is good enough since once the counter is > 0x289 or == 0x28A, it'll reset to 0x1 and continue to add 0x1 each time; thus, continuing the randomization cycle. The code will continue to do this at a very fast pace since I never set a conditional on the execution timer address (something along the lines of 74000100 FF00000C at the top of the code) so you'll never get the same Pokemon back-to-back.

    Maybe this could be ported (or remade) for Black/White?

  3. This is highly disappointing. Everyone was bragging about this in the other thread and big surprise! There is NOTHING new in there for Pokemon Black 2 or White 2.

    Of course there isn't. Nothing new will come unless other people start contributing and since the majority of the NDS Scene are code requesters, that's not happening.

    Hmm, elixirdream told me the code (Fixed Hold Select to Encounter Shiny Pokemon) was fixed so I assume it fixes that issue. Please backup your save and test.

    Nah, that code was done by a Japanese hacker and it got ported or it was done by elixirdream.

    Are these for Black 2 or White 2? I only have White 2.

    Those codes are for all regions.

    But in case you're that dense, I need a code for Shiny mon that isn't button activated at all.

  9. Its the simple fact that a lot of us are not using emulators or R4 cartridges. Those of us with Action Replays and retail cartridges do not enjoy needing an extra program to read the database. XML is the format the Action Replay uses so it makes sense.

    Also, its such a pain for people like me. I only purchase Pokemon (main Versions) releases. Extracting a single game from a list every takes more time than it should. :(

    You guys have to bear in mind that the usrcheat.dat is currently 12.3 MB, the usrcheat.xml is currently 31.1 MB, and you also need to bear in mind that we need to host this XML file (subscription) somewhere. Uploading it will take some time and it even takes awhile to save the usrcheat in XML format...doing this every time is extremely slow and tedious and it makes our work harder than it has to be.

    The usrcheat has grown to the point where it's too large for even browsers to handle.

  10. uhm.....well thank´s anyway, and i hope you guys will do, as i do not want to load tons of Programs to satisfy my needs even when there are so many smart people out there at GBATemp that could also re-activate the "old" Cheat-Database!

    And well maybe i will do as promissed and enter the GBATemp Forums to hopefully get the AR Codes in a Code Tag list or whatsoever !

    I...You don't need *tons* of programs...just one (R4CCE) and keep in mind that it's your needs so you should learn to do for yourself.

    Obviously, but does anyone know what item that would be?

  11. why could you guys not make an Update for those of us who do not use Roms or AceKarts or whatsoever but only own the Retail Game and an AR and need to have the GBATemp XML codelist updated?

    Personally, I think people should help themselves since they have the ability to download R4CCE and edit their copy of the usrcheat. Maybe we'll look into it since it seems like more people are requesting an XML file.

    EDIT: By the way i need a Code DB that is working like the old GBATemp CheatDatabase in XML, as i do not have any device capable of reading USERCheat-files!

    Look on the internet for "R4CCE", open the usrcheat and save it as an XML File.

    And: i dont want to register on GBATemp just to see the CheatCodes ;)

  13. EDIT: Well i for myself wonder why there are no AR codes done for the US/UK Versions nor the German Versions of the new Games

    There are codes done for the US/UK Versions of the game; however, I'm not sure if they're compatible with the German Versions because I'm too lazy to check.

    hope this will be fixed, as even GBATemp nor Codejunkies do list new codes -specially GBATemp seems to have stopped the Codedatabase as the latest version is still somewhat from last year! ;)

  14. that's what i've been saying. with the latest firmware those codes with the hacked handler don;t work anymore. i don't have any cards to test other games with the latest firmware, but someone with them might want to. it's something to think about for people making codes in the future.

    Yeah, I would hate to stop using it altogether, but it seems as if it's the only solution for right now since it might not work on the newer ARDS(i)'s unless it's further tested. I'm not an ARDS user anymore so I could still use it for my own use, but it'll suck if no one else could enjoy those codes.

  17. hey everyone I can see you guys are already doing a great job with coming up with codes for BW2. I have been looking all over but it is probably too early but can someone possibly make the "Catch Any Pokemon" code that was made for Black/White using the Master Ball in Slot 1 (Pokemon's hex #) and Ultra Ball in slot 2 (wild pokemon's level)? It was an incredibly efficient code. :) thanks again for all your hard work you guys are awesome.
