  1. I'm still confused about why people get this technical about...a game. It's just meant to be fun. And whoever figured out the whole RNG seed thing and how its all connected.... Has WAY too much time on their hands. Off-topic, yes, but its still loosely related.
  2. A bit off-topic, but I totally agree with you on that point. Anyways, I think they will have WCs in 5. And yes i guess a Wii homebrew is plausible, but it seems kinda.....ehh. I dont really like my Wii. Haha.
  3. I figured you would work it out yourself. Most people do. Anyways, Umm sorry, I'm not really experienced at that. I've only sent pkm. files to my DS. haha. Sorry, I'm not a pro, but you could probably find out by lurking through the threads in this forum. Give it a shot, or maybe someone else could tell you. I can't really help you there, sorry.
  4. Hmm that seems peculiar. You're sure you entered your IPv4 address? And you saved your setting on your DS? Also, you could try assigning a Static IP to your computer. You can find many tutorials on the web for that. http://www.hotcomm.com/faq/faq_staticipxp.asp Good luck, hope you get that to work.
  5. I'm not an expert, but I believe they can, as long as they have a working access point. I think they would do the same thing you did, they just don't have to start the program and forward their ports and all that.
  6. No problem. Good job figuring that out by yourself, I could never really explain that well so I hoped you would.
  7. -facepalm- Okay that might help Go to your router's settings, (It's usually a website) and go to the "Port Forwarding" tab. I'm not sure about your router, but you click "New Forward" or something like that, and type in 80 as the in and out port and hit save. There's also a website dedicated to port forwarding, you can Google it or something, in case my suck-ish explanation doesn't help.
  8. Okay thank you! The flashcart I own is a slot one, and yes I have a wi-fi router.
  9. Okay, I saw somewhere someone mentioned that you could get .sav files off of retail carts using your flashcart. How would I go about doing this procedure?
  10. I waited on that $0.99 for a few days, I didn't feel like bidding yet. Nor am i getting it anymore, there are now 21 bids and its up to $16.75. Darn.
  11. Another update! Every game that I've played on it, apps that I've played on it, music that I've played, all works fine. And the games have absolutely no lag and run like a normal game. The only problem I've encountered so far is that whenever I run PPSE-DS and choose my .sav file, it says its not a valid save file. I have no idea why. The interface is also not user-friendly at all. But, I've figured it out now and everything runs fine. Actually not a waste of money after all!
  12. I think I may see about buying the second link you posted, Riolu. Thanks for the help!
  13. My router has always caused me a BUNCH of problems with gaming. My Xbox live kept screwing up, game servers on the computer wouldn't run, etc. Its a pain.
