I'm not sure what you want, as you don't need to do anything to enable Mystery Gift (unlike Diamond and Pearl with the Jubilife TV Station). After you "Touch to Start", scroll down the initial screen where you load the game save, start a New Game or Connect to the Pokewalker. The next option down is Mystery Gift.

Not sure where we go from here, as the save appears to be OK. I presume I would also be able to read the file you downloaded OK.
Have you considered contacting Datel to see if they have any advice. How long have you had your ARDSi?
-
I notice your save name is over 23 characters. ARDStoSav (only program to work) only works on filenames less than that. I'll check your save. Reads OK into my Pokesav first two Pokemon are Buizel and Politoed.

I presume this is for HG or SS? I admittedly modified the existing code. I made it so that it only affected the quantity of the first item (probably an Escape Rope) and the quantity of the first Pokeball. Press Start to get 493 of the first Poke Ball for the Pokemon Level and Press Select to give 100 to the first standard item (Escape Rope?). Discard as necessary for the Pokemon and Level and use the L button to activate the code when you are in the long grass.
493 1st Pokeball [start] and 100 1st Item [select] Pokemon [L]

If you go into Settings there is an option to Export the Code List.
If you could attach one of your game saves for the Pokemon games to your next post I will have a look at it and see if I can do anything with it.
-
If you are just working on the Pokemon I would suggest using Pokegen which has a much smaller screen area and in my opinion is better than Pokesav for making Pokemon. It works from .pkm files.
It is available here.

I was wondering if you had the latest version of the PC ARDSi Manager program downloaded.
My ARDSi (bought recently) is up to date and worked fine with the save. Have you tried other data on your Micro SD card just to make sure there is not a problem with that.
You could try exporting your code list to XML and try reading that in Notepad to confirm it looks OK and that side is working.

I like Racing games First and Third Person Shooters and RPG's mainly with a definite liking for Strategy RPG's such as Disgaea. I also buy the occasional Beat 'em Up, Singstar, Guitar Hero and Rock Band games. The only MMORPG I play (from time to time) is Final Fantasy XI.

I tried downloading my save from Diamond onto my PC. Used a program (ARDStoSav) from here to convert it to .sav format so that I could read it in Pokesav. It may be worth you trying that to check that everything is working fine. At least it will eliminate some potential problems. Not sure what to suggest beyond that, but we'll try to progress further when we know that the save is OK.
Check this topic for the program ARDStoSav, though you may need to download something from the Microsoft Web site to make it work.

I have been able to back up my Diamond, Pearl and Platinum Saves using my ARDSi. WIth HG and SS the ARDSi cannot find the game cartridge to be able to do the save backup, so I presume I have no way of doing anything with the saves from those games.
-
I presume the saves came from the same region as your game. If you have a US game you need a US save etc.

It is the SID for a Shiny. Must admit I was just wondering if it should have been shiny. I have changed it. Here is the Shiny AR Code

Try this AR code for HG/SS. I reduced Atk IV to 29 to get a legitimate PID. I evened out the EV's at the maximum that is legitimate. I adjusted the PP to the maximum that is legitimate and gave it a trainer name and original trainer ID. It went through the legality check OK.

Press Select to activate the code. The Pokemon will appear on the PC in Box 12 Slot 1
Edit: Just loaded the code to my ARDSi. Activated the code to get the Pokemon in Box 12. Saved the game and reloaded it wtithout the ARDSi in and the Pokemon is fine. Should pass any close inspection now.

I can generate a new code for HG/SS containing that Pokemon as it is now. Or I can make it look legitimate and then generate a code for it.
-
Is that Pokemon in the AR supposed to be a Lv 100 Metagross with EV's and IV's Maxxed out and a PP of 99 on every move? It appears to have come from Diamond and Pearl.

I though Firefly was great.
I finally got to watch every episode of the Gilmore Girls when I bought all the DVD sets.
If having DVD sets of a complete series is anything to go by, I have all series of Charmed on DVD and also The O.C. I also have all the series of the excellent Veronica Mars. I also bought The West Wing Boxset.
I may live in England, but I mostly seem to like US TV series. I would have to say Fringe, Chuck and Lie to me as my favourites. Some other series I like seem to have not been as good (in my opinion) for the most recent series shown in the UK, such as House.

I would have generated your Magikarp. but I am new to Pokegen and have not successfully used Pokesav, so i not sure how to get the 999 in all the Battle Stats. Can anyone offer advice?

In the car yesterday I was listening to 21st Century Breakdown by Green Day.
Late evening I was listening to Words and Music: John Mellencamp's Greatest Hits

Sorry, not the most meaningful title I could use...
I created a couple of codes to create Pokemon in one of the PC Boxes for the EU/US version of Soul Silver and was asked if these were Ok for the Japanese version of the game.
Presuming that the code loactions are different, I failed in a couple of Google searches and wondered if anyone here had any idea of the locations of the PC Boxes in the Japanese Soul Silver (or Heart Gold).

Needless to say I just tried the SID thing and the save loaded perfectly.
When I generate the code I paste directly into the ARDSi program so there is no scope for a coding error.
Sorry I couldn't get it to fail again. I suspect it could be me doing something stupid. Maybe I adjusted the EV's without regen-ing the PID. With the best will in the world it is still easy to overlook something.
If I ever manage to recreate this without doing something stupid I'll PM you.
-
I should be able to recreate this. I am using Pokegen to create the Pokemon and creating the AR code to use in my ARDSi to load into Heartgold on my DSi. I have been putting the Pokemon in one of the PC Slots (making sure it is empty first). Using Select (the default) to activate the code. I then do a Save. Turn off the DSi, remove the ARDSi and restart with just the game in there. If it had happened once I would have assumed I did something stupid, but it has happened at least twice.
I load the .pkm and (of course!) notice something that needs a minor adjustment. Do the adjustment. I think the last time it happened I was adjusting the Secret ID to get a Shiny. I then selected PC Box 15 and the first slot. Clicked Generate and pasted the code into the ARDSi. Seeing as I then opened Pokegen again and loaded the .pkm to recreate the AR codes I don't actually have a .pkm file with the problem in it.
I did run the legality checker which said that the Pokemon was hacked, but that ought not corrupt the file?
-
I have a slight issue with the program. I have the last version but keep intending to update to the latest.
When I make a change in Pokegen and then generate the AR code, go into the game (normally HG) and save, this usually results in a corrupt save. Fortunately the game reverts to the last save. Does this mean that the Checksum is invalid? Do I need to get into the habit of doing a save, exit the program and start it again, and reload the newly changed .pkm file, generate the AR code and save the game, this seems to correct the problem?
Other than that, an excellent tool to use.
-
I have only used it on my "normal" HG and my SS to obtain a Japanese Ditto and the Pokemon Ranch Mew. I also added Yellow Forest to my HG having missed out on it with that. From the AR code, I figured the way the routes were held so was able to only add Yellow Forest.

Have you checked GameFaqs? There are some Soulsilver saves there, one of which (EU) definitely has Event Poekmon. They are in Action Replay format and I have not had much success in trying to convert them to a readable .sav format for some reason. I had no problem with my Platinum Save which I copied to my PC and converted to .sav format. That was readable and visually OK in Pokesav, so I am not sure what is different about the GameFaqs saves.
