  1. It doesn't matter whether or not the "general public" welcomes this tool, eventually someone WILL make a PKM extraction tool. I might even give it a try myself depending on how beefed up the encryption is. Think of Pokesav itself, THAT certainty wasn't welcomed by the majority of the public. But, someone came around to it, and now there are half a dozen clones of it on the internet. Let me put it this way: If you have knowledge of how to do something and you choose NOT to share it, then other people will spend their time re-researching it and reinventing the wheel, and it will take away from the time that could have been spent researching something new.
  2. Thankyou Guested. I have added a zip file to my original post. And according to WindSlayer's info, my Crobat is legit so far.
  3. Can you tell us the exact moveset position according to your knowledge?
  4. I admit that I was not there myself. I had a very close friend of mine go and get it for me. He is against game cheats, hacks, and such. He was there as a spectator of only TCG battles, (since you can't really cheat at those). From my perspective of this entire mess, it doesn't matter whether I personally received the event, or if my friend received it for me. Either way, I still guarantee that it is legit.
  5. Thank you OmegaDoughnut and Guested for correcting everyone. I asure you all that every contribution of mine is entirly legit. But, as for the incorrect dates I apoligize. It turns out, my DS consol did have its clock set ahead when I recieved the event. That can be fixed by a simple Pokesav edit, if you wish. Please do not make uninformed asumptions. For those of you who wish to jump to conclusions, you are going to have to wait untill more contributions come in, so you can compare them yourselves. Here is a side note for those of you who don't know or care about how Sabersite's Pokemon Legality Checker really works: Sabersite's Pokemon Legality Checker can only correctly check pokemon that is has ALREADY been programmed to notice. So, that means outdated versions (or in this case, versions that haven't been updated), CANNOT make correct asumptions about the Pokemon they check.
  6. Here is the English language VGC Crobat: Card title: Battle in Kona Card Comment: Thanks for coming to the 2010 Pokémon World Championships! Be sure to save your game after you pick up the Pokémon at a Poke Mart. Pokemon Icon 2: 169 Date Card Received: August 15th, 2010 Distribution Value: 801D (Diamond, Pearl, Platinum, HeartGold, SoulSilver) The Crobats were distributed in 7 different languages. The distribution was wireless NOT through the gba slot. EDIT: Sorry, the PCD says it was recieved August 19th. That is because my DS's internal clock was incorect at the time I recieved Crobat. 7. Interesting, does anyone have a schematic of that cart and a normal ds cart so I can compare them?
  8. It not yet possible to backup or restore saves to Pokemon HeartGold or SoulSilver. This is because Nintendo changed the hardware address for the E PROM that contains the save file within the cart in order to add the infrared communication feature. If you're curious, all save researchers for Pokemon HearGold and SoulSilver have used either an emulator or a flash cart.
  9. This site never fails to amuse me. Well, here are the Gamestop Pichu and Jirachi: So what do mean by "untill Sabresite comes back"? Does he have a backup of all the events that went missing on this thread? EDIT: Don't know why it put a "%20" instead of a space between words. The files are still fine though. 10. I opened the ram of the "Action Replay Code Manager" program and found the links that the program uses to retrieve the NDS ROM to update the action replay. So has anyone ever edited the links to make the program update with a different ROM than the ones it uses for firmware updates? I found that the program goes to "http://us.codejunkies.com/nds_actionreplay/update_info_us.asp" and chooses a link from which to download the NDS ROM. I have also noticed that the ROMs are .bin files and that the first 8 bytes must be removed before the ROM will work in an emulator. If we can get it to update with our own ROM, then we could turn our Action Replays into flash carts.
