  1. I'm still making pokefan101's request but here are the finished ones: AEROJAY codem8ker
  2. I'll post again on Sunday with all the requests (currently 3) complete. I don't have access to photoshop on this computer, and I won't be able to go on tomorrow so yeah... Sorry but you'll have to wait.
  3. <p><p><p><p><p><p>Thx for the tut, i'll make sure i'll use it in one of my sigs <img src="<fileStore.core_Emoticons>/emoticons/wink.png" alt=";)" srcset="<fileStore.core_Emoticons>/emoticons/wink@2x.png 2x" width="20" height="20" /></p></p></p></p></p></p>

<p><p><p><p><p><p>Just that it looks a bit big... but that's not really a problem.</p></p></p></p></p></p>

  6. <p><p><p><p><p><p>I was meaning pokemon that use Flying-type moves in general, which most Gyarados' and Salamences don't have. Dragonite is a bit of a pain but Skarmory and Gyarados is easily KOed by Galvantula. Yeah I know, that wasn't your point anyway, you were just listing pokemon with good defences. And a question is; How many attacks does it take a defensive Zapdos to KO Machamp/Conkelurr, if you could answer me, that would really help, so I can know if Galvantula is needed to revenge kill it.</p></p></p></p></p></p>

<p><p><p><p><p><p>Oh, what I really meant about the NU thing was that it makes sense to not use an NU in the OU metagame as it is outclassed, not saying it cannot compete with OUs, but it just has a disadvantage. And about the sexist thing, it's only because misunderstandings in society still exist. When I told my friend to review my team, he actually brought up the thing about me not using females.</p></p></p></p></p></p>

<p><p><p><p><p><p>I do know the flying weakness of my team but there isn't really anything I could do about it, since my team is based on a theme which I wouldn't want to otherwise change. But as I recall, most flying-types have weak defences right? So normally I just spam Bullet Punch with Machamp & Scizor. ElectrFlying types are a bit of a nuisance though, but surprisingly enough, Thundurus can't learn any Flying-type attacks (except Hidden Power). I do have problems with Zapdos, however as long as it does not OHKO Machamp or Conkeldurr with Drill Peck, Stone Edge will KO it.</p></p></p></p></p></p>

<p><p><p><p><p><p>And tell me, why are we doing this in VM?</p></p></p></p></p></p>

  8. Sorry, I didn't have internet access the last few days, i'll get on Eievu's request now. EDIT: Tell me if you want any changes: Avatar: Signature:
  9. Superheroes Galore! Introduction It really hasn't been long since my last RMT but with some relative success, (not to mention the lose streak afterwards *cough*) I've decided to post again. And btw yes, these pokemon's sets are based on Smogon's, yeah, boring right? Theme The theme of my team is to use pokemon that resemble the main Marvel Superheroes, hence the title of the thread. My previous team kept being called 'noob' because of the fact that I used sandstorm. It didn't really bug me but still, I decided to make a team that doesn't use weather so that those stupid people don't complain. Things you may need to know This team is used on Pokemon Online, therefore, assume all Pokemon have 31 of each EV, that is, unless the pokemon has Hidden Power as one of its moves. I used images to add to the presentation, however, it wasn't until after I made them that I realised it was a bit hard to read due to the small text. If you are having difficulties reading it or if it is hurting your eye, please open the spoiler beneath the image for the text based information of the pokemon. It is also for if your internet is slow and the images won't load. All the pokemon in this team are Male, no i'm not a sexist. The only reason was because most superheroes are male. The only female one I could think of was Wonderwoman and I couldn't find a pokemon to suit her. The reason I posted this was simply to look for ideas to improve it, so recommendations/suggestions are highly appreciated, thank you! Former Members Team at Glance The Team With its excellent speed, decent attack and bulk along with its utilisation of Taunt, Crobat made it into my team. It was my first time using this bat. It worked extremely well and tops my list of being the best lead. It taunts tanks such as Forretress and Skarmory (duh) and uses Super Fang to deal damage against them. Brave Bird is the option for pokemon who are quite frail, notably Gengar. As well as a lead, it also works as a great counter to the popular Generation V lead, Mienshao. The common set consists of Fake Out, Hi Jump Kick, U-turn and Stone Edge/Taunt. If it uses Fake Out, that would be its biggest mistake, as Crobat's Inner Focus prevents it from flinching while it's Brave Bird is enough to OHKO the cat. Crobat has a 4x Resistance to both Fighting and Bug, rendering Mienshao useless. Mienshao usually holds a Life Orb. However if it uses a Focus Sash and has Stone Edge, you are really hoping for a miss there, as Mienshao's Stone Edge is enough to spell doom to Crobat. I've been asked why I didn't use Machoke as Hulk instead as it suits Hulk having two arms. I chose this four-armed beast because of its superior attack and speed to be able to outspeed Blissey of course! I play in the Smogon server where you are able to rearrange your pokemon before the battle. My choice is always either Crobat or this guy. In the early game, if their first pokemon cannot wall Machamp/kill it, they will either at least attempt to or they will switch. DynamicPunch is the option here of course. It has a 100% confuse chance and will either get the pokemon or the pokemon it is switching into. If I predict a switch into a Ghost-type, I will normally use Stone Edge and hope for a crit (yes, luck does play a big role). You might ask why not Payback when that happens. That is because I cannot always predict correctly. What if it's not a Ghost-type the opponent switches into but rather a Flying-type? Stone Edge will make sure that switch-in pokemon gets hit hard. And it will either be killed by Machamp or revenge killed by one of its companions. The standard Bulky Swords Dance set, wait, I've changed it a teeny little bit of it. I took away 4 HP EVs and added it to Speed. You're probably thinking if that was necessary, well for me it is. Scizor is still one of the most used pokemon in the game. As a result, I meet a lot of other Scizors, the 4 EV speed investment allows my Scizor to outspeed other Scizors from the original set rather than hoping to win the Speed Tie. It would take 2 Swords Dances in order for either to KO the other with Superpower. If for some reason they use Superpower after 1 Swords Dance and you continue to set up your 2nd Swords Dance, they will either Bullet Punch you or Superpower you again. If they choose Superpower, keeping in mind that you have higher speed; you will be able to use Superpower to kill them instead. If they use Bullet Punch instead, it will not be able to kill you thanks to only having +1 Attack after the Superpower. Let's talk away from the whole Scizor vs Scizor thing now, the main role of Scizor is to sweep. If it gets a good chance then I will set up a Swords Dance or two. After that, Bullet Punch will be my main sweeping move. We all know that Bullet Punch becomes 80 power thanks to STAB and Technician. Combined with Scizor's high attack, swords dance, and its priority effect, it is a very good sweeper. It is also my only counter against Tornadus in my team. My team is entirely swept by Tornadus if Scizor is dead. After 1 Swords Dance, Bullet Punch does over 90% of Tornadus' HP while being able to survive 1 Hurricane from a LO Tornadus. If Tornadus is equipped with Life Orb, then that guarantees its death. However, if it is not equipped with Life Orb, Machamp's Bullet Punch will be able to finish it off (unless I let him die earlier in the game). Sorry Spidey, but you just turned out to be yellow. Galvantula's ability, Compoundeyes is able to increase Thunder's shaky accuracy to 91%. With Life Orb and decent special attack, Galvantula is able to abuse Thunder's use easily. Bug Buzz acts as its secondary STAB option, Volt Switch is to switch of course and Hidden Power Ice is to destroy... erhmm... all those annoying guys. Against pokemon with some decent SpD, I am really finding it hard to OHKO them. I am considering to changing its nature to Modest (+SpA, -Atk) to help with its offensive capabilites. However, i'm afraid that by doing so, many other pokemon such as Garchomp would be able to outspeed it. I am most concerned with this guy so help is mostly appreciated for him. I couldn't find any pokemon to look like Superman, no pokemon I know has a cape (maybe Emolga?) so I decided to just go with Lucario as he is mainly blue-coloured like Superman and is one of my favourite pokemon (after watching Lucario and the Mystery of Mew). Lucario is normally my late game attacker or even a revenge killer. If I know the rest of my opponent's pokemon are unable to outspeed me, I will spam Aura Sphere and switch when I need to, I also apply a similar strategy for Dark Pulse and Vacuum Wave. Hidden Power Ice is to revenge kill threats such as Salamence (unless it has already set up 1 DD). Vacuum Wave is a counter to many pokemon such as Excadrill and also used to revenge kill some pokemon on low health. Since starting to play, Conkeldurr has remained to be one of my favourite pokemon. Here, I am using the standard Bulk Up set, oh wait, I did exactly what I did to Scizor! I added 4 Speed EVs! That is of course, to act as a tiebreaker against other Conkeldurrs. The strategy here is to spam as many Bulk Ups as you can. As soon as they use Drain Punch on you, you start spamming Drain Punch instead of Bulk Up. Eventually, you will win, unless, of course, there is a crit. Like Scizor, I will normally set up and sweep. If I cannot set up, I will just spam one of its Attacks. Overall Comment This team worked exceptionally better than I originally expected it to. 4 Pokemon with Priority moves may seem too much but that's working for me so... yeah... Again, Tornadus is the main threat of my team and all suggestions are welcome, thank you!
  10. Bump. I'm just posting to say i'm back, if that even matters, I can see hardly any activity here. Requests are welcome, so just post to ask for a sig/avatar!
  11. Here is a link from where I learnt to render things. And I believe rendering is just using a sequence of steps so if it's more difficult-to-render, then it's just more difficult-to-render, of course there are better ways but normally if it's more complicated it just takes more time.
  12. @ieges: Wow, you're learning really quick. Just note that the avatar might be too big for the forums. PP will automatically reduce its size and that will lower its quality, so it's better if you can crop it down to around at most 120x120 pixels and resize Jigglypuff to make it smaller. @Narwhal and Sabeta: The time of the year has come where exams are up so i'll be inactive for the next 4-5 weeks. In this time, I won't be able to make sigs so you guys will have to make them yourselves or with ieges. And ieges, you can ask them two for help if you need it. I will be back, but that's gonna be after exams are finished, so until then, good luck!

  14. Ok, thanks so now my Jellicent has Recover, Scald, Toxic and Hex. I decided to keep Hex because I really needed an attack to counter the now ever common Flame Orb Sigilyph, Conkeldurr's payback can usually 1HKO it but Conkeldurr is frail in its SpD and usually dies before I reach walls such as Sigilyph. I chose Scald because yesterday when I tested out my new team, it took on average 3 Will-O-Wisps to burn the opponent... After changing my team, I am realising the difference already, so thanks to you who offered help. And also, @vashaurion: I don't think Haxorus is a very common lead, I hardly even see it being used at all... EDIT: I have problems with Swamperts and Gastrodons now, any suggestions?
  15. Ok, thanks for the suggestions, and wraith, what's so preposterous? I thought you always rated teams. Just a question: If I replace Return with Swords Dance, wouldn't a Salamence or Gyarados just end my sweep? So what pokemon should I get to counter those two? Or do I stick with my Tyranitar? (if it's not already dead...) EDIT: Also, I need suggestions for the moveset of Jellicent since I know nothing about it... EDIT 2: So now i've applied the changes for Tyranitar (I kept the name Sue ), Excadrill and Garchomp that wraith suggested. I also took Tbird's advice in switching Gengar + Regirock for Jellicent + Rotom-W. Now I need to know am I using those two right. I came up with movesets but I don't think they were very bright ideas: Jellicent @ Leftovers Ability: Water Absorb Nature: Calm (+SpD, -Atk) EVs: 196 HP, 96 Def, 216 SpD (I have a feeling the Def EVs shouldn't be there) Will-O-Wisp Toxic Hex (I'm thinking if Night Shade should go here instead) Recover Rotom-W @ Choice Scarf Ability: Levitate Nature: Timid EVs: 4 HP, 252 SpA, 252 Spe Hydro Pump Thunderbolt Volt Switch (I also have a feeling I don't need this considering i'm running Choice Scarf) Shadow Ball Okay, so suggestions for those two are also preferred.
  16. Well I sent you 4 a PM before and from my 'Track messages' button, Illithian and Spartan Pikachu still haven't read my message yet, and on Spartan Pikachu's profile, you can see when he was last active. Can't see when Illithian was last active though, he's probably set on Invisible Mode. And nice job there ieges, but next time remember to not use pokemon with the white pixels. I forgot where you can find a collection of those pictures but you can search a pokemon on Bulbapedia and download the image they have there.
  17. Okay, so i've recently started battling using PO and I want to know how good I actually am. I tend to win over half the time but I have no idea whether that is even considered good. This is my team (totally made by me): Tyranitar @ Focus Sash Ability: Sand Stream Nature: Impish EVs: 192 HP, 80 Atk, 60 Def, 152 SpD, 24 Spe Earthquake Stealth Rock Pursuit Ice Punch I usually use Tyranitar as a lead. The EV distribution for her looks absurd, I know. The reason i've never changed it is because so far Tyranitar has never been lowered into using Focus Sash unless the opponent used a fighting-type move or a super-effective move with a high Atk/SpA pokemon. I normally don't mind sacrificing Tyranitar to set up Stealth Rocks (that is only unless the opponent has a pokemon which can cast a different weather). Pursuit is to fend off Gengar, that is unless Gengar has Focus Blast, and Ice Punch is mainly to fight Gliscor which is always switched in when i'm using Tyranitar. Earthquake acts as its normal attack. Excadrill @ Life Orb Ability: Sand Rush Nature: Adamant EVs: 4 HP, 252 Atk, 252 Spe X-Scissor Brick Break Earthquake Return (255 Happiness) Not much to say about Excadrill, apart from the fact that it acts as my physical sweeper. Sand Rush doubles its speed and outspeeds almost everything. Brick Break is for the annoying Heatrans equipped with an Air Balloon. Earthquake is its STAB move, X-Scissor is used on the situation and for Cresselia, and Return is used as a back-up move. Conkeldurr @ Life Orb Ability: Guts Nature: Adamant EVs: 252 HP, 252 Atk, 4 Def Mach Punch Drain Punch Earthquake Payback Up to now, Conkeldurr has always been very useful with its Attack and decent Def, being able to survive most physical attacks. If I switch this guy on Toxic or something, it really hurts alright. It then gets to sweep any pokemon without resistance to Fighting easily, at the cost of dying within 2-3 turns due to Life Orb Damage + Sandstorm + Poison. Mach Punch is its main move to back up its low speed. Drain Punch is for slower tanks such as Ferrothorn. Earthquake is its backup move and Payback is mainly used to fight Ghost-types. Garchomp @ Choice Scarf Ability: Sand Veil Nature: Adamant EVs: 4 HP, 252 Atk, 252 Spe Earthquake Outrage Brick Break Fire Fang Not much to say about this guy either, Earthquake and Outrage are its STAB attacks and Choice Scarf ensures it attacks before most other pokemon. Brick Break is backup and Fire Fang is to counter tanks such as Forretress and Ferrothorn. Gengar @ Choice Scarf Ability: Levitate Nature: Modest EVs: 4 HP, 252 SpA, 252 Spe Thunder Sludge Bomb Shadow Ball Hidden Power Fire Like all other Sandstorm teams, its greatest fears are Pokemon such as Abomasnow and Politoed. If a Politoed is switched in, I make sure that I use its rain against itself, that's right, 100% accuracy Thunder. Abomasnow can be killed by Sludge Bomb or Hidden Power Fire. Hidden Power is also again used against walls such as Forretress. Shadow Ball is its STAB move if Sludge Bomb is ineffective against the opponent. This Gengar used to be a Timid Nature with Choice Band but it turned out so many pokemon outsped it that I decided to change to how it is now. Regirock @ Leftovers Ability: Clear Body Nature: Careful EVs: 252 HP, 84 Def, 172 SpD Rest Toxic Seismic Toss Sleep Talk What else do I need to say? It's a tank rest talker. Has Toxic and Seismic Toss to damage the opponent. It gets a great 50% increase in SpD due to Sandstorm and it is totally useless against Gengar. However, Scarf Garchomp's Outrage only manages to take away around 30% of Regirock's HP, which makes it an easy kill for me. Okay, all is said now, rate my team, I accept crits and suggestions. I have a feeling i'm gonna get a lot of crits for this >.>

<p><p><p><p><p><p>"I refuse to use such a low quality Shaymin image"</p></p></p></p></p></p>

<p><p><p><p><p><p>Lol, that really made me laugh</p></p></p></p></p></p>

<p><p><p><p><p><p>And btw, yes, that sig looked really good but try considering the size proportions of the pokemon next time. I believe the three monkeys are the same size (or am I wrong?) and it looked like you were trying to fit Simisage in without cutting out any of its body. It really doesn't matter to have parts cut out, sometimes it looks better that way.</p></p></p></p></p></p>

  19. Well that can pass as a beginner artist, you can start taking requests and i'll back them up if the requester isn't satisfied. We'll have to wait for Narwhal's opinion for you to officially become one but I guess I have the authority to temporarily make you, right Narwhal?
  20. <p><p><p><p><p><p>Nah, I was just building a team and needed to search some stuff. I saw your sig shop though, some nice work there.</p></p></p></p></p></p>

  21. <p><p><p><p><p><p>Lol I was searching if thunder's accuracy is affected by Sandstorm when I came across your article. I know which forum you are on now xP and btw thanks for the experiment <img src="<fileStore.core_Emoticons>/emoticons/smile.png" alt=":)" srcset="<fileStore.core_Emoticons>/emoticons/smile@2x.png 2x" width="20" height="20" /></p></p></p></p></p></p>

  22. Yes, you can ask for a new one, that one is pretty old and I believe I can make much better ones now. I need some business in the sig thread too xP
  23. Hi, welcome to ProjectPokemon. And i'm here to advertise here something too: Narwhal and Illithian's Sig Thread!
  24. Glad you're not a rebel. Enjoy yourself here at ProjectPokemon. Visit Narwhal and Illithian's Sig Thread if you're looking forward for a good looking signature. Oh wait, I forgot the hello. Hello
