Sorry guys, been bedridden for the past two weeks so I haven't had the chance to pop on... Currently there is only 2 available. (I've tried every possible way I could think of to smoothly add more and got nowhere) The Mew time travel event you just take a Mew to the shrine in Indigo Forest. The Spiky-Eared Pichu event you just take a Pikachu to the shrine.

Are you attempting to apply the CE patch to a clean rom? To me it sounds like you are trying to do: Clean Rom => Perfect Platinum => Perfect Platinum Challenger's Edition This is wrong. What you want to do is: Clean Rom => Perfect Platinum OR Clean Rom => Perfect Platinum Challenger's Edition This is correct. The patching process for either one is identical, the only difference is which patch you use. So if you have successfully created a PP rom, you should have no problem making a PPCE rom.

That actually makes sense. DS can't load and unload scripts fast enough... (dunno how familiar you are with the maps but certain areas of TONS of scripts) Least that's my theory on that, could be wrong, just an educated guess... Meh that's the cost of... err 'not carrying all your games with you everywhere' I suppose... lol ;-p

Known bug eh? Never had it happen... The only thing I've ever had happen on my ak2i was this one time Phantom Hourglass froze and I hadn't saved in 2.5 hours (I've never played it since...) Other than that I might get a white screen loading a rom if I screw up a f/w update (me not updating loaders usually) Though this "known bug" still supports my hypothesis that certain "blank pokemon encounters" are flashcart related issues...

Holy $#!^! I never knew that! Haha! That's accidently awesome! No I didn't do that apparently that is an automatic game mechanism... Man this greatly decreses the need for a location guide! Hahaha! Highly recommend ak2i. It's what I've always used and it has never failed me. Works with 3ds too. Only if people don't include the AP patch and/or use the wrong tools. Some things can be more of a hassle to accomplish (such as trade edits, but I did em via hex editing in Platinum anyway...) but they can be done. Added: I think it should work but I don't recall anymore honestly... Thinking about the way the event is scripted I don't see why it wouldn't work... Maybe you just have terribly bad luck?? That is strange but I don't see any reason for it to bug... And as for gible, he is most likely safari only. We compiled a list of pokemon that were not in the game (as in "in it at all") and worked off of that, so chances are Mushen did not place it anyway else... Oi! I have addressed this previously, now leave it be... Also apparently the radio can help you...

This is correct. For Celebi's event go to the shrine with a celebi (if you just caught one you have to leave the area and come back) and for Pichu's just go to the shrine with a pichu (I think I decided on pichu... crap I forget now cuz I tested with 4 different pokemon but I think pichu is the final answer for 1000) And hohehi, stay your tongue. If you ask for download links of such a nature again you will be banned. Consider this your warning. (I may no longer be a mod but I assure you the mods will stand by this.)

It's not misleading, they can all be caught. It is a true statement. And Glameow for example is not all that rare, you probably just had poor luck really... Barely rarer than a pidgey in the beginning...

They are there. Just not IN YOUR FACE type there. The changed ones are mostly subtle as to not break gameplay by acquiring pokemon that rape the gym leaders. Not to say it's not possible, you would just actually have to try to do it... P.S.: Sorry it's been a few days, blame Disgaea 3...

If I recall correctly set it to level, close it, and re-open it. It is possible to change it to level (see my hacks for proof) I just am not fully sure how I did it anymore but try that and let me know...

Hmm, again another one. The only thing I have found consistent is that anyone experiencing this issue is NOT using an Acekard 2i. (which I am) I hate to blame the card but it is the only pattern I can seem to find. Also I forgot to ask earlier are you using my newest patch? It, for all intents and purposes, should be bug-free. I've removed and reworked all potential causes of bugs.

For future reference guys, English is of little concern to me and quite frankly a terrible language. Write in whatever language you are most comfortable with and I will figure out the rest. As for your issue, I've gotten this report many times and the best I can tell is be sure to patch the game from an absolutely clean ROM. (this means no AP patching or anything. CLEAN.) I have never encountered this bug myself. Also it may help if I knew what flashcart you are using. I have suspicions of certain flashcarts being the culprit but I do not have enough data to confirm this.

Unfortunately it does tend to happen from time to time in specific areas. The best I can tell you to do is either run, "die", keep smokeball on your first party member, or keep someone in your party that can definitely run away (I forget the name of the ability). We didn't have a lot of options with as many legendaries as there are in the game so yes at certain places you will run into lvl 70 legendaries, even with max repel ( you have to remember max repel only repels "weak" pokemon away). On the plus side you only have a 1% chance of running into them in a given area...

PPRE mostly, and some hex edits. No where near as many tools as I had to use for Platinum.

Yea we did our best with that. There are some that can be found a little more frequently but it's not too severe.

Sounds like you guys play similiarly to me. I have one really strong pokemon which is my main, and all the others get raised in double battles, exp share, and if my main gets knocked out

I'm glad to see you started with Chiki. I personally always use the plant type (no matter what). I gotta tell ya, if you don't raise at least one other (such as pidgey) the next 2 gyms might hurt a bit. Falkner is managable for the most part but the 2nd gym I was forced to raise a pidgey a few levels.
