  1. Awesome! Thanks for the guide! Had a lot of fun making a PID. I think I'll do it this way always now~ I'm liking that PIDs aren't tied to nature and IV's anymore. Makes for less headaches (so far). Anyway, thanks again.
  2. There is no all 31's Jolly PID that I could find for it. I had to lower the IV's some, but it's still quite high. The spread is 25 31 30 31 31 30 so really it's fine imo. Ghost-69 Hidden power which is pretty cool I suppose since it was pure coincidence. Anyway, corrected the best I can file is below: Radrizor.pkm
  3. As was stated the 41h should never be set currently. Also Surf had too much PP for no PP ups, but a Pokecenter rest woulda cured that. The biggest give away was that it had American letters for the trainer name and the pokemon name, but that isn't possible coming from a Japanese cart (the letters are full width not half width, and thus have different hex values). I've changed it to reflect these changes, and now it looks like it was recently caught on an American version of Soul Silver. If you want it to look Japanese you'll have to find the Hex values for the full-width Japanese English characters, which I personally don't know where to find (would be awesome to know though!). The happiness should be set to zero on "newly obtained" looking legendaries as they always have 0 happiness when you catch them. Fixed version is attached below. Lugia [Bert - ProjectPokemon].pkm
  4. Here you go! Had to tweak the IV's every so slightly to get a PID+Nature that were correct. You also had the date set to Jan. 2000 which isn't a realistic date for Heart Gold lol. Anyway they are attached below, and should work fine now (I didn't check moveset legality or anything). Hope they work for you, and you enjoy them! Kazu.pkm Akuma.pkm Kaeru.pkm
  5. Hiddex Hex was incorrect on all. On Dialga there doesn't need to be a 86h because that's for HG/SS only. For the others there doesn't need to be a 86h because they are palparked, and regardless of game there is only one hex filled in for pal parked poke and that is 46h to 37 for pal park in hex. Dialga had no ability picked. They all had improper PID/IVs so I gave them the same nature with slightly different IV's in the two pal parked ones cases to get a proper PID+Nature combo (1-2 IV difference on 1 stat). Happiness is also 0 on legendaries (aside from dialga which had been leveled 10 levels). 120 is only for hatched poke iirc. They should all be fine now. Hope they work out for you, and take care! They are attached below: Edit: Btw, I didn't do a check on the moves to see if they were legit or whatnot. That's something you can do though so shouldn't be a problem there. If there's a problem with them lemme know! ^^ Mewtwo.pkm Dialga.pkm Kyogre.pkm
  6. It still has a 31 in speed. Characteristic is chosen at random if there are multiple stats tied for highest. In this case that is HP ATK and SPD at 31 as you originally supplied it (i never touched IV's). It simply chose one at random to notify you of for the characteristic, but the IV's are still the same. In other words, it's exactly as it was there is nothing to change. =)
  7. Faraway Place is just how you currently have to do it in HG/SS pokesav because that version of Pokesav is still in development, and they don't have the locations listed in it yet to choose from (Route 34 in this instance which the Hidden Hex is filled out as Route 34). Hidden Hex values are values that are mostly used in Platinum, Heart gold and Soul Silver. They are a Hexadecimal code that says where the poke was caught/hatched, where the egg was obtained if it came from an egg, what type of ball it was caught in, and what type of terrain it was caught in (like cave, tall grass, etc). These things have no bearing on the actual stats of the pokemon, and it performs the same way it did when I started work on it. The only difference stat wise is chopping off 3 EV's on SPD, but that doesn't actually change it's stats either since its only .75 of a stat boost Np man I hope it passes legit checks ingame and whatnot. This is my first time doing one for HG/SS so was quite the learning experience, but fun none the less. If you really want to be sure it'll work in any Nintendo event just try to upload a video using it with the Vs. Recorder (if that's still in HG/SS I don't know). If it allows you to then Nintendo has no idea it's a hack. Let me know how that turns out please if you would! I'll give you a link to the discussion on hidden hex values, and a link for the values for HG/SS: Hidden Hex: http://www.projectpokemon.org/forums/showthread.php?218-~Guide-to-44h-45h-46h-47h-and-85h-Values~ HG/SS Location Values (they aren't in Pokesav currently hence FarawayPlace): http://projectpokemon.org/forums/showthread.php?5532-List-of-46h-and-47h-values-of-HG-SS-locations Good luck, and enjoy!
  8. Your EV's were 1 too high (511), and you had several other errors. Btw, you can have a maximum of 255 in a stat EV wise, it just doesn't benefit you to go over 252 as it's the last divisible by 4 number before 255. Anyway, the location was set to Platinum yet didn't have any hidden hex values filled out. The hometown (original game) is incorrect since dratini can only learn ExtremeSpeed in HG/SS. Not sure on this one, but it said it was nicknamed, and had the original name still. Either way I changed the name back to original with corrected trash bytes after it, and you can rename it in game if it's a problem. This one I can't be sure on without verification from you, but is your character ingame a female? If not then that is wrong, and needs to be corrected as well. I'll be attaching a corrected Heart Gold version of this Dratini soon. Also need to hear back from you on the OT gender. Worst case you can fix that yourself with one click though so not that big of a deal. Hope this solves your problem! Edit: There you go! That should do it, and pass all legit checks. Fixed EVs, fixed Hidden Hex values (even got them set correctly for HG) fixed possible trash byte weirdness and fixed Hometown to be one that is actually legit. Can't think of anything I missed aside from clarification on OT gender. Hope it works out for you, and you enjoy it! Let me know how it turns out if you don't mind (just send me a PM). He's attached below: Dratini [Tiguan - Heart Gold - ExtremeSpeed].pkm
  9. Uggh, I read around and tried to find more info, and all I can come up with is that the mystery gift trash bytes never vary by region. I didn't think to cross reference my normal poke on NA games until now which I can see that 00's is normal for non-mystery gifted pokemon which invalidates me using my starter on the JP copy to check JP trash bytes (for mystery gifted poke). >_< If I can ever download a JP mystery gift poke straight from Nintendo that would help a lot in determining things for myself, but this is a hard thing to do currently. I'm a bit uneasy about using mystery card files off the net to do testing as I can't be 100% sure they aren't sav'd and someone didn't change trash bytes or something like that. Not to say that they are saved I'm just saying I can't verify with 100% certainty for myself unless it comes directly from Nintendo. That said, could anyone elaborate on what was being said in another thread in the Legality Checker forum where someone says "It could have Japanese trash bytes (00's instead of FF's)"? I'm so confused on all of this. Apologies for a useless topic, and feel free to delete it. Thanks for your time. A recap of what was edited out basically: Is it possible that JP Mystery Gift Pokemon received on JP copies of the games can have 00's for trash bytes rather than FF's, and if this is the case then Legality Checker's readme.txt needs a quick line added. I mean no disrespect to all the hard work you guys do, and am just trying to verify something that I've heard some conflicting info on. It's very hard to find much info on trash bytes much less Japanese ones.
  10. You are correct that Rayquaza is not legit looking at all. Method 1 only as far as I'm aware for GBA legends. Edit: Ignore the rest of this post. Found out some new info, and invalidated what I was thinking. Still feel like something is off with Mystery Gift Japanese pokemon, but that has nothing to do with your Emerald palparked poke. Just drag and drop the file over the trashbytes.exe file and then it'll have proper trash bytes. Apologies for the mis-information. ^^;
  11. I could be wrong as I'm rather new to most of this, but you can EV train a lv100 then put it into the PC and withdraw it and the EV's will take effect as the stats are recalculated. Nothing technically stops a lv100 from getting EV's it's just assumed that since it can't "level up" again it couldn't get the benefit of the EV's. Depositing it and Withdrawing it solves this problem. I actually had this very thing happen to a Rhydon I was EV training. I had done ~80 ATK EV's on a lv23 Rhydon which had 55 ATK, when I withdrew it later to resume the ATK EV training it had a corrected base stat of 59 even though it's level never changed (still 23 even now).
  12. Looks pefectly fine to me. The PID/IV's don't have to match since it's hatched. If you want it to look like it came from Pearl though you don't need to enter any Hidden Hex's (85h is the only one used by D/P but its 00 in this case because it is an egg). If you wanted it to be from Platinum then you need to change the region to Platinum Sinnoh. The Hidden Hex values are correct to my knowledge though if it was born in platinum. ^^/
  13. Greetings, First of all I apologize for the necro bump, but I didn't see any way to post the attachment in a PM so didn't know how else to respond. Just joined today so I'm just trying to help out someone if I can with my limited knowledge. Anywho, on to your fixed Milotic (it's in the attachment if you don't care about what was wrong lol): There was quite a few things wrong with that Milotic (to my eyes). The biggest of them was that you claimed it was to seem hatched in a Platinum game, but there was no data in the hidden hex values for a hatched poke which are required in plat. Changed the region they are from to Platinum Sinnoh as well instead of pearl. The happiness was 0 also, and while that is possible if you really just wanted to be mean to your pokemon it is unlikely lol. The beauty of course was 0 as well as the sheen as you stated earlier. I took the beauty and sheen values from a legit VGC Milotic shiny for the values on yours. I also changed the place where the egg hatched to route 209 (below the town with daycare) as it's much more likely than Mt. Coronet (where you would meet feebas to evolve into Milotic if it wasn't hatched). I also just went ahead and fixed the PP value of the moves so it doesn't require it to be redeposited into the PC to fix them. I'm still incredibly new to the world of Pokesav and the likes, but I hope this will work for you! The only thing I possibly can see wrong with all the stuff I currently know is the PID/IV relation is wrong, but supposedly in hatched pokemon they don't have to so then in that case it's fine as I can see it being. I don't think trash bytes matter, but typed nothing but spaces then backspaced everything then retyped your names (that is how you fix them when they aren't events and such right?). If you need it ran through the trash byte normalizer I can do that too. The pokemon .pkm file is attached below! Please let me know if it works, and is allowed for you. If you don't play anymore no biggie it was good practice and kinda fun to make. Maybe it'll be of use to someone else if nothing else. Thanks, and take care! PS: The Nature, IV's, EVs, Shininess, held item, etc are all left alone. Edit: Meh got bored and just did the others lol. The other two had the wrong class for the selected ability, along with no hidden hex's, and 0 happiness (not impossible, but unlikely, though so is 31 IVs in all stats). On the Shiftry I had to change Taunt to Swords Dance because Shiftry can not learn Taunt in any way from all my searching on bulbapedia. Anyway they are below now. Enjoy. Edit2: Realized that hatched poke are indeed met at lv0 so post corrected, and corrected pkm file uploaded! So sorry to all! Shiftii.pkm Kenii.pkm Ranchii.pkm
  14. Grettings everyone. Apologies if this isn't where I should ask this, but after much looking around it seemed the most appropriate place. My question is that recently I got a Japanese Movie Darkrai which was of course supposed to be legit, and on the surface does seem to be. Later on I decided to check it out in all the different tools just to see if I had been scammed. Everything looks perfect except for two possible problems I found (well three but I think i ruled one out). The first two being his happiness untouched is set to 70, and I believe this value should be 0 for Darkrai should it not? Also, the trash bytes show up as being invalid in the most recent legal.exe. They are 00's rather than FF's. I have looked far and wide for information as to what exactly it's trash bytes should be (likely FF's if they are wrong, but was looking for direct confirmation for this exact poke), but have found none. I saw a post on here that said JP pokemon could have 0's for trash bytes instead of the usual so perhaps it isn't hacked? I'm so confused at this point I really didn't know what to other than ask you guys for help. Pika AntiCheat shows it as cheated, but then again my 100% legit pichu and jirachi from last month show up cheated as well (I believe this is due to the PIV/IV relationship that wonder card pokemon have yes?) so I don't think that is a problem. The legal.exe shows no problems other than invalid trash bytes. I will attach the file below, and thanks to all for their time in advance. -GentaiShinigami TL;DR: Is it in any way possible that having 00's for trash bytes is legit for a Japanese Darkrai, is 70 happiness normal for this particular poke (i suppose it could have been raised anyway, but I doubt it given that it's 70 exactly), and lastly the PID/IV relation will be incorrect for this poke compared to normal relation of them correct? Thanks! Edit: Also just wanted to say thanks to everyone here for the great work you do! Had a blast reading through everything, and learning so much about the behind the scenes of Pokemon!
