    Just restarted Diamond after transferring everything to Platinum, and came across a shiny Starly within the first two hours of playing. Sadly, a critical hit killed it so I couldn't catch it. So far, that's the only shiny I have seen in the game not counting some of the event pokemon that are on this site I have added to my game.
