“Safely”. Things to note: - Only HOME can issue legitimate HOME trackers - they use the trackers to track Pokémon that has went through HOME. Right now, it doesn’t appear that they catch users who deposit mons that should have had a HOME tracker. They have the capabilities to do so, but they’re not doing that right now, and we’re unsure if they will ever do so. So how ‘safe’ is that, and how much risk you want to take, is up to your own prerogative. And no, you can’t change the location. Whatever it shows up as in game, and whatever location the data actually has, is not meant to be changed by any user.
