cyborg99 Posted April 7, 2009 Posted April 7, 2009 Original topic: http://forum.pokesav.org/viewtopic.php?f=16&t=3814 To re-summarize: I can load my save onto Pokesav and data says I have pokemon edited and added into my PC boxes, but when I restore the save to my game cart(this isn't a ROM sav file I'm editing, it's "legit"), no data is changed. I use Rudolph's Wifi Backup tool.
Poryhack Posted April 7, 2009 Posted April 7, 2009 Post this in the help forum please. Unfortunatley I don't know how to resolve your issue.
cyborg99 Posted April 7, 2009 Author Posted April 7, 2009 My apologies, I just saw the split today and wasn't sure which one to put it in, thanks for moving the Thread, though. EDIT: Er, would it be merger? I don't know, I saw the sticky not to use the old Pokesav forums today, that's what I mean >_>
Kaarosu Posted April 7, 2009 Posted April 7, 2009 This is a problem with Platinum and save editors if I remember Corey's thread. Basically when you load your save to edit, Instead of editing your 'current' save the editor reads the 'backup' save so whatever changes you make never reflect when you restore your save. Coreycubed will hopeful re-post his temporary solution. What I do in my game is save over both Slot-1 and Slot-2(and even Auto to make sure) after making my changes in pokesav.
cyborg99 Posted April 7, 2009 Author Posted April 7, 2009 Alright, I'll try that next time I'm near my DS(it's not with me right at this second), so I just go into Select Save Slot and just select auto, save, select slot 1, save, select slot 2, and save one final time?
Kaarosu Posted April 7, 2009 Posted April 7, 2009 Yeah that's what works for me. I also usually save in front of a PC.
cyborg99 Posted April 7, 2009 Author Posted April 7, 2009 Hrm, that didn't work, should I change the file size to 512? EDIT: That didn't work, either.
F2L2O2R2I2S Posted April 8, 2009 Posted April 8, 2009 I'm also having the exact same problem... It really pisses me off, I tried everything, EVERYTHING.
