Problem with trading

Hi guys, earlier I tried to trade a giratina origin forme to pender but for some reason, it changed to alterned forme when it got to him and the griseous orb had disappeared

Can someone explain this and is there any way to get past it?

That's because the new forms don't work over Wi-Fi. You can see the RAM editing forums to use a code that'll at least make it work while battling. I'm unsure of what happens during a trade.

It's not that. He traded it to me, and I was using my Platinum game.

Edit: I just took my own Origin Giratina into the Wi-fi club to see what would happen. When I left, its Griseous Orb had been removed, and Giratina was back in Altered Forme. So I guess the alternate form Pokemon aren't allowed in the Wi-fi club for trades as well as battles.

Nope, that's right. Alternate forme Pokémon are not allowed via WiFi. I'm sure of this for Giratina and Shaymin. Not sure about Rotom, but I figure it's probably the same deal.

Yeah, every pokemons that has alternate form (Giratina, Shaymin, and Rotom) will return to its original form when they're being used on wifi, both trading and battling.
