Izzi1r Posted March 16, 2010 Posted March 16, 2010 So I was messing with the Pokewalker when I decided to look something up about it. I put the walker down and began using that hand to find what I needed. My other hand, holding the DS, lowered a bit and the top half of my DS tapped the touch pad area of my Laptop. The next thing I see is my screen going totally black instantly. After like 20 seconds I figured out my DS caused it and tapped it again. Tried it a few times to make sure it was because of the DS, which areas of the DS would cause it, and if the power being on mattered which apparently didn't. Anyone have any ideas as to why this happened? Maybe a small magnet within the DS top half?
randomspot555 Posted March 16, 2010 Posted March 16, 2010 A magnet? While computers aren't supposed to have magnets near them, it'll have to be a big one to screw it up. Read the manual that came with the Pokewalker. It'll tell you if there could be any damage done to it.
Izzi1r Posted March 16, 2010 Author Posted March 16, 2010 Pokewalker had nothing to do with it. My DS top half was what did the damage.

orbwhisper Posted October 7, 2010 Posted October 7, 2010 The Pokewalker doesnt affect the laptop...if you randomly get your DS screen near the bottom edge of yer laptop it blackes the screen...why I dont know but I am sure its something sueable...FCC regulations and what not.
